So people who recover from Covid are immediately immune? Concerning his own condition: Trump was right again?

re: New York State just passed a law requiring ISPs to offer $15 broadband.

Great: means the service quality will go down and outages go up, as ISPs will have to cut costs elsewhere.

It's interesting how the discussions here about this game were all basically unanimous that it was a bad idea. Taking recent, real world events, putting real people that were there as NPCs, but ignoring all the civilian casualties those people caused feels, to use a dictionary word, icky.

But then a Muslim group says something and now there's vehement dissent here.

Maybe a few of you should wonder why you didn't care, or much care, or see any need to defend this game, until a Muslim said something?

I'll agree with you on one thing, and we can all agree here: It's stupid to care about what any cultural/political organization, like CAIR, thinks about any video game. It's better to ignore them and enjoy the games you want to enjoy. The challenge is to get the gaming companies to ignore these political groups, which so far I don't see an easy solution to.

Perhaps looks to games made in other countries where the developers are not affected by vocal ideologies.

Just looking at the trailer, the game doesn't look all that exciting. Don't let CAIR get you all stirred up over a mediocre-looking game lol

It's good Amazon fired these troublemakers, but it's going to cost them. Amazon should be more careful when hiring woke fanatics who care more about activism than contributing to the bottom line.

Go work for some other company if you don't like their practices.

Amazon didn't offer the Trump administration resources for the vaccine rollout? Nice that Bezos puts politics over peoples' lives.

FYI it's Richard Corben, not Corden. The article's title on the source-site has the incorrect spelling, but the article's text has it spelled correctly.

Facebook earned $5 billion this quarter, almost double same quarter last year. So much for all that time spent on the big corporate boycott the SPLC and other anti-hate "authority" groups organized. The end result was the participating companies losing some new impressions in their markets. LOL

What's that in the sky??.... is it a bird?.... is it a plane?.... no it's a virtue signal!

Speaking of virtual signaling, last year there was a successful Kickstarter for a card game called Virtual Signal: basically play as your favorite SJW against other players to collect NPC followers, or steal/knock out the followers of other players. The agitator who accumulates the most NPC followers by a set number of turns wins. I picked up two copies myself:

If I ran Facebook I would shut down any home page of companies' participating, and advise they are no longer allowed on the platform, unless they offer a public apology for the trouble.

Unilever has joined the boycott? The makers of Axe body products which has been built on portraying men as pigs and women as stupid sluts. That same Unilever? Lol!

""There is no place for racism in the world and there is no place for racism on social media," the drinks maker's chairman and CEO James Quincey said."

Yeah? What about preventing diabetes and obesity with a soda/sugar tax? Is there room for that, Jimmy? No? I didn't think so.

Unilever also owns Ben & Jerrys, so I'm sure the fattening ice-cream empire owners had some influence with Unilever's decision, since they are very anti-Trump.

All this to force Zuck to censor Trump and interfere with the elections. Facebook is too powerful, and all those whiny companies will eventually have to stop reacting to left-wing activist groups like Sleeping Giants and NAACP and get back to the effective social-media advertising.

Good that Twitter is finally censoring Trump's warnings - hopefully now when the vandals try the next Federal property they will be unpleasantly surprised by the fierceness of law enforcement and legal response.

Oh, Google employees don't want to help the police? Fine, then law enforcement should not have to show up at Google's offices for any emergency calls.

That's what you get for encouraging an activist culture rather than a purely business-focused one. I'd be leery of Google if I was a shareholder.

Why did Floyd resist arrest in the first place? Do you think he would have been alive today if he didn't resist arrest? Or try to pass a counterfeit bill? Or take meth right beforehand? If a cop wanted to arrest me I would just peacefully allow it. But I don't know how I would react on meth, since I've never tried it. Maybe I would get violent with the cop.
