There's no puzzle about it, EA has done the same to virtually every IP they own.

Don't go fucking blaming a lousy UI on the input device. Destiny has one of the cleanest, most functional UIs on the market.

The grapple hook is a late-game unlock which doesn't do anything but circumvent the "parkour", which was the single non derivative element of the game. The zombies look and act exactly as they do in Dead Island. The gunplay is exactly (totally half assed) as it is in Dead Island. The melee is exactly as it is in Dead Island. The crafting and loot is exactly as it is in Dead Island. The quests are exactly as they are in Dead Island, being almost entirely drawn from the fetch quest reject bin.

The world itself... is significantly more boring than that of Dead Island. Whereas the campaign of Dead Island is punctuated by abrupt changes in environment, the whole of Dying Light occurs in a dingy, ramshackle urban landscape.

His movies were funny. In the 90s. I actually saw Little Nicky in a theater and shortly thereafter concluded I was done with Sandler films.

March Madness gets underway for real today, as the preliminary games are done and the round of 64 begins.

As somebody currently dwelling in the home of the First FourŪ, I take serious offense to that! Gooooo, Dayton Flyers!

It's roughly 90% copy-pasted Dead Island.

Yeah but aren't most of the things I'd be saying already being said? Heck, I even saw a comment about wheeled desks!

Also... I now have a girlfriend. I do still try and read the more interesting stories but I don't comment as much.

Dude, games before dames.

And of course like all good movies I can't go see It Follows as the fucking thing isn't in any theaters.

On the other hand, the little indie cinema downtown is actually showing What We Do in the Shadows.

Ori and the Blind Forest is definitely worth playing for platformer fans. It's fairly challenging at points but nothing my DS4 and I can't handle.

Black hole is more appropriate though, as MS has not been absent but aggressively detrimental to PC gaming. Shit like GFMFWL and DX10 were legitimately harmful. Any promising IP that floats beyond MS's event horizon is forever lost.

Apparently I need to go see this as soon as possible. A horror movie scoring that well *without* sending up the genre must be something special.

Hey, I had Lasik last year. The procedure itself was awkward in the extreme, but it's insanely quick and besides dryness the only pain didn't last more than a day.

That the US can't rid itself of either the monetary penny or daylight saving time represent the shining examples of how ultimately backwards and ineffectual our governing bodies truly are.
