I finally beat the game a couple nights ago after about 70 hours of playing with maxed out ray-tracing... You don't understand the impact it has unless you've seen it in real-time.
The state-of-the-art lighting, shadows, and reflections which some claim to be "barely noticeable" is merely the baseline improvement, raising the bar throughout the game, but many scenes and environments are completely transformed. The inside of a car finally looks right, for example, barring an unfortunate bug where sometimes a character's eyes glow like the light is shining right through the back of their head. Most interior locations look way better with some global illumination, and if they have any number of reflective surfaces? Sheeit. That's when your mind is blown, realizing how much visual detail we have been accustomed to not having.
My only complaint is that your own virtual self is not shown in any of these reflections, which I'm going to chalk up to the overall state of rushed unfinished-ness with the game, especially since I've seen at least one instance where they've scripted you looking at yourself in a shiny surface and remarking upon it, except you don't see anything. I don't think it would be that much more of a performance load, so it must be down to some glitch(es) they couldn't quite work out, such as the aforementioned glowing eyes.

This fix the GSync issue with 1080's?

You do know that the save game corruption is related to people using cheats to spawn infinite amounts of crafting materials? Should this have been caught in testing?

Well quite the guesses you have going on there, I'll go the other way and say they will get a worthwhile bonus and not something like a front line worker gets, it will be more of what professional bonuses look like. Lets see if something leaks.
I know people who to commission bonus structures for sales teams. And boy oh boy, can they come up with 'convenient' math to fuck you over for any reason. So rest assured the idea that they are 'getting their bonuses' is only a half truth. Rest assured though, all the executive level people are getting all their full bonuses though.

No Fucking Shit. How could ANYONE not realize what a fucking SCAM it is driving for these companies?

Translation: 'If we didn't the negative PR would crucify us.'
Don't forget that they're likely 'lying but telling the truth' here. In that I'm pretty sure:
1) yes the bonuses are coming
2) its no where near what was actually promised, which probably wasnt even publicly known anyway
Functionally its a way to tell the truth, but be lying. I guarantee whatever 'bonus' structure they had allocated, and yes you do have to allocate these bonuses as part of your budgeting, were already obliterated by the 6 day work week increase and all the other nonsense they've done. Meaning that they're all probably getting some utter pittance of a 'bonus'.
Oh remember that crunch? Yeah its still going. Do you think anyone on the core engine team is even allowed to go home with all the face melting bugs across 6 platforms? They're gonna be working on bugs, console certification, etc until 2021.
"Hey so like you know how our utter failure in project management over 6 years caused you to crunch for years, enforce fake 6 day work weeks we were already making you doing, and also hey you gotta work through Christmas and New Years because of all the bugs and stuff? Here's like $100 gift card 'bonus'.

Some small clipping issues and my character looks very odd in the mirror, but it's been great otherwise.
