I just wanted to say that anyone that see's the new DVD has to watch the MTV Matrix special...Will Ferrel as the Architect is hillarious. When I watched the movie again after seeing him do the architect, all I could think about was Ferrel saying, "ergo" "vise ve" "CONCORDANTLY!!!" lol, that guy is a funny bastard...Ok, I'm done.

I keep looking for that thing I've always been looking for...

I just wanted to say that I wouldn't argue with Moog if he/she was saying that the world is flat. I guess it's just the long posts, but seems well-read. Good job Moog, where ya from?

Chapter 10
The blinding darkness overwhelmed the man. He reached for his lucky thumbnail he had attached to the inside of his ear. It was gone. The man was histarical due to the loss of his lucky charm. The only thing left for the suspect to do now was to follow the blinking football player that was calling his name. The football player was absolutely frightning. There he stood with his nine iron in hand waiting for the next round of fishing. His huge eyebrows seemed to dance as he stared the suspect down in his bowl of cottage cheese. Humiliated, the suspect gave into the
demands of the football player and joined him while he danced a jig. One wouldnt think a football player could dance in the clogs that were made of jell-o, especially in the attire the football player donned. With his racing suit colorfully decorated with the sponsors of local paper clip companies, the football player told the man to leave if he would not participate in the annual "DOG BEATING FESTIVAL". The dog beating festival was just irratating. There were thousands of dog lovers lovingly beating their neighbors dogs. "Sick." the man said to one dog lover. "What good does it do to cover the animals in baking soda?" The suspect needed answers, and he needed them quick.

"I'm not saying we shouldn't glorify the Vietnam war, but from a gaming viewpoint I don't see how this game is going to be fun. With Bf:1942 it dealt with a world war that involved many countries and locations for the fighting. In this game there are only the VC and the Americans so it doesn't have the diversity it's predecessor has."

United States Army/North Vietnamese Army,Viet-Cong
Axis/Allies
Opposition/Coalition

First of all, you're going to have the "good guys" and the "bad guys" (depending on your allegiance) forming two teams anyway you cut it. As far as diversity, the time in which each spinoff has been created also brings different weapons, vehicles, terrain, etc...Now we have a jungles, rivers, rice paddies, and not to mention the big ocean that kinda surrounds the whole country/countries (N.Vietnam/S.Vietnam) I could think of one more terrain that would be sweet if included and that is the tunnel systems the of the viet-cong. I can see flashlights, pistols, booby-traps in the tunnels. Now napalm's dropping, smaller boats moving down the rivers, and how bout hamburger hill? I'm seeing the potential diversity here. Whether or not the game produces that is what I anxiously wait for.

First of all, I want to say that HL2 is going to kick ass. The fact that Valve is simplifying the Source engine's toolkit for mod-makers means even sweeter games after HL2. Like Counter-Strike to HL. The material texturing that give each object it's own sound when interacting with bullets, wooden planks, barrels, concrete walls, metal doors, etc...That too will add to the amount of ass that is kicked by this game. Just wanted to post my thoughts...

I'm not sure as to why everyone's talking about their control setup, but I use E,D,S,F (fwd, bwd, lft, rgt) with space for jumping and leaving the number row, and surrounding QWRTYZXCVG for my other binding uses...That is all. I think that's probably the best setup for any user bar-none. Invisisun
