13 years ago, Wedge and Choryoth were front runners in the community. Seems fitting that they contributed to one of the most revolutionary entries into the first person genre.

13 years ago, I had my first real taste of what community mods were capable of, and the magnitute of the Quake frameworks possibility.
13 years. Damn.
Has any other game launched more careers than Quake and its' children (Half-Life, Quake 2, SiN, etc...)? Doom gave quite a few people their starts, but as far as I know that was nothing compared to the impact Quake had on the industry. This comment was edited on Jun 22, 2009, 10:59.
