If I can't cut off arms with circular saw blades I'm not playing. Pfft, "Chasm."
Anyway, Darks, people here frequently post that misleading image trying to show that FPS level design in the 1990s was superior to now. I think lots of people want a more simple game sometimes. And there's a lot of depth and cool mechanics you can add to a platformer now that you couldn't back then.

Same thing as John Romero. He spoke purely from his ego and the PC Elite really can't stand hubris paired with mediocre products.

And Blizzard is offering full refunds to those that cannot meet the new requirements right?
I personally have never bought, or played it, but if anyone's computer does not match the new minimum requirements, by law, they are required to to offer a full refund of the price the person paid, or some way to play the game in another way.
There is already case presidence for this.

Here's what I propose to prevent mass shootings:
- Must get a full background check before getting a mental illness.
- A three day waiting period before you can develop a mental illness.
- You can't develop a mental illness before turning 21 years of age.
- You're not allowed to develop a mental illness if you've ever committed a crime, even a misdemeanor.
- You're not allowed to get unlimited mental illnesses. There needs to be some reasonable limitation, say three.
- No concealed mental illnesses.
- No acquisition of mental illness from unauthorized and unlicensed vectors.
- No acquisition of mental illness over the internet.
With those kinds of restrictions, mass shootings should be greatly reduced.

Finally got around to uninstalling. Complete waste of $10. Watching paint dry is more entertaining than this game. X Rebirth complete on the other hand is actually fun and nice to look at. Can't wait for X4.
And what the hell did Cutter post on July 2006?

The last half of your comment invalidates the first half by a rather large margin. If you can sit here and tell me that X: Rebirth has more value and plays better than Elite:Dangerous with a straight face then your opinion is highly suspect.
*waits for the inevitable reply that I'm an idiot, not worth listening to, should shut my fucking mouth and, oh, my mother was a whore*

What we need to be really concerned about is whether MS will buy CD Projekt Red and make future Witcher and Cyberpunk games Xbox exclusives. It's currently worth $2B, which is close to what MS paid for Minecraft.
Don't give them ideas!
As for Valve, Gabe's cash is largely on paper. This would make it liquid. That's why Epic sold.
Huh? You see valve marketplace recently? Printing cash.
Ya I don't get this.
CSGO alone has sold 39million copies ($195million if all bought at a $5 sale price, a large chunk was not, likely $300m+ earned.). DOTA and CSGO market transactions bring in millions every year.
They're like an over filled atm shooting cash out. I picture Gaben as caricature trying to grab the money as it flies out of his pockets as he walks, sporting a shit eating grin wearing a stained lambda shirt on while hordes of HL fans obsess over him. And that's not counting his money power house Steam (30% of every sale of the vast majority of the biggest gaming market on the planet.)
There is zero reason for him to sell Valve, even if Steam is the money maker and Valve is relatively inactive (I don't think it is, but that's a different discussion) it still brings in millions.

It's a $500 device with a selling point of "lots of third party patches to enhance games". Very unimpressive, Microsoft really sucks this generation. They need to invest in some first party studio partnerships again, all of their franchises are hitting franchise fatigue territory and when one of your tent poles is "Super Lucky's Tale" then you've got some issues to address.

You guys really need to wait until the game ships before announcing DLC.
Why? The tards will buy this game no matter what and the real pro-tards will now preorder two copies cuz OMG ITS EVEN GITTIN SPANSHUNS!!!111

Yeah, just ran through it and did the drop in co-op map too and was totes unimpressed with it all. The visuals are nice, as to be expected, but the sauce was weak with everything else. No maps - overhead and mini, no journal, shitty console UI is a real PITA where you can't even compare items side by each, nothing to intereact with or do on the map except get slightly confused as to where you're going and why, so you just run from start to finish with all the predictable enemy drops.
This is it? This is the much-hyped Destiny? Fuck, console players are easily impressed aren't they? This is just some bullshit hamster-wheel grind-fest. Yeah, I'll probably get around to giving it a playthrough in a couple of years when it's $5 or less. I could easily skip it entirely and likely will by that point.

Downloading this console peasant garbage as we speak. Let's see... so far this year's record holder for fastest uninstall on my side is the Titanfall 2 free trial which flew off my SSD after less than 10 minutes. Can Destiny 2 beat 10 minutes? Looking at the cheesy dumbass console kiddie trailers I have a feeling we might have a new winner here!

P.S.: What is this shit? 900KB/s download??? I thought Blizztard had nuff money for servers?? Guess not...

I remember back in the day when I was playing SimCity 3000 and mentioned it would be nice to drive in the city and someone mentioned Streets of SimCity. I'm still surprised no one has done anything like that with newer city builders, seems like a no-brainer if you can get a 3D Map generator going in this age of DLC, you could sell activity packs like racing, transport (train driving, bus driving etc), shooting, maybe an emergency services where you get to fight fires, drive an ambulance etc.
