I bought this, excited and eager to play... but there's a distinct lack of polish to it. NPCs snapping into position, the weapons & recoil feels cheesy and forced. It's definitely not a AAA title in my opinion, and isn't of the same calibre of CoD, Halo, & all the numerous PC first person titles that came before...

I've been enjoying the app store.. it's nice, convenient, and gives you a good opportunity to see what's out there. There aren't as many reviews as the iphone app store, so sometimes you're diving in without knowing what to expect. But it's worth the upgrade

Mac's are irrelevant in the computer world. Stats back this up where Mac OS is less that 6% of the world market. I have never even seen a Mac outside of America.

There's a large Corporate Mac community, and it's gaining steam fast (especially with Office 2011). Cisco, GE, VMware, NetScout... plenty of large players with a supportable infrastructure around OS X.
Calling them irrelevant is ignorant.
Regardless, I've owned all these games on the PC for a long time, and it will be nice to play them natively in OS X. I'll sacrifice a little performance for the convenience of not having to reboot. This release is going to cut into my Reach playtime for sure

IE6, maybe. IE8 is pretty solid. Safari is still my browser of choice, but when I am on a windows box, I don't mind IE8 so much.

Fuck that terrible fucking design. Terrible. It's the sole reason I won't buy a PS3.

I bought the solo game and expansions (even though I already have it on the 360) to play... enjoyed it, found an interested friend and picked up the pack for him. 2 more friends later, I realize that I should have bought the damned 4-pack to begin with.
Ah, well! I've enjoyed this game more than any other in the past 3 years so I don't feel bad giving them money a few more times than I should've. Enjoying my 5th play through immensely!

To each his own. Borderlands was, and still is, an incredible game. Every now and then I load it up and play -- even after beating it twice. That's the kind of game that has staying power.
Not sure how this game is going to turn out. Suppose I'm happy just to see it potentially get released, but I hope it isn't missing the x-factor that 3D Realms games had.

My first thought was they were bringing back the HEAT.NET gaming service. Aside from the lack of serious competition in Quake/Quake 2, it was a blast. Plus, I got copies of Battlezone, Battlezone 2, and Dark Reign from redeeming points earned kicking ass on Q2DM1
