"This smacks of parents who probably have no idea how to raise or discipline children. This might not have ever happened with decent parents, but almost certainly wouldn't have happened had the VP been more forceful about anything at all, rather than just letting the child do what she wanted to in that office."

The unfortunate part is, if you discipline a child in the way they should be when they get like this, it is called "child abuse" these days. Yet if you abide by the law (which in this case promotes complete and utter disdain for authority) you are billed as an ineffective parent or guardian. In other words, parents/guardians can't win either way.

I know a lot of people, inlcuding myself, that agree when we got out of hand as children, a good whack here or there never hurt us at all.

The "walk on walls" thing seems at least innovative if nothing else.

What do you mean by this? Sorry I haven't read the article yet.

"What would happen if 3DR release DN3D and the graphics are literally a generation or two ahead of what we see now? It is a posibility thats for sure."

I would expect this after a 10 year dev cycle. Either that, or the most fun game ever made.

Road trains can be up to 4 trailers long. A recent contest has much higher numbers though The first link is a smaller road train at 79 trailers and the second link is on the current world record of 114 trailers.

"but the game wasn't really bad, just too drawn out and unvaried."

That's the same as long and boring. The 2 worst possible combinations for any kind of entertainment.

"Demo mirrored at worthplaying... how ironic."

Yeah but to bring balance to the force, it is also mirrored on Gamers Hell.

"with sex as a lame excuse for this game"

I wonder when they'll learn? I mean look at Sim Sex or whatever it was called. The concept was so juvenile I can't even remember it's real name. Er wait, Singles! That was the name. Cream of the crap with this following in its suit.

"Go play Aliens vs Predator 1 and 2. "

Now that was a scary game. At least for me. It kept me on the edge more than anything I have played before or since. It was dark, but didn't seem to annoy me as much as Doom, since the enemies were fun to fight.

"There are just a few mistakes but they are so big I think they ruined their chances to knock DOOM and HL2 off the top of the ladder. "

This never had a chance to be at the top.
