"What a great free set of patches. Any1 care to argue any of these facts with real knowlegde of any of it?"

Not really - since it seems arguing with you is like arguing with the wall. I think Devourer is devouring himself.

If this is a traditional air conditioner (not air cooler), it sounds to me that it may just need a service. A couple of simple rules I found while living in extreme temperatures of dry and humid conditions.

Traditional air conditioners are perfect for humid areas. They generally make the air more dry.

Water coolers on the other hand are perfect for dry climates, but you have to put them near a slightly opened window and on the other side of the room have another slightly opened window or door. Then you're in business.

Is that a sequel or this expansion?

It's the X-Box version which is apparently a different setting and levels etc. Not sure when it's due for release though.

Actually 1 title is actually the very best example of "Milking"

Well milking, by definition, one would expect to get something out of this. For example the 20 thousand Sims expansions are all sold for money. The only point you have made is that they splash HDR etc (most average people don't even know what this is) as a selling point plastered "all over the net" to a game which you said is already over a year and a half old. Hardly milking.

"which technically means there are exactly two (2) Far Cry branded games in existence."

Well technically one since the 64 bit version is free and the console version isn't out yet.

I think milking a franchise is more something like "The Sims".

"Page after page of the 300-page book illustrate in before-and-after pictures from space the disfigurement of the face of the planet wrought by human activities."

"If there is one message from this atlas it is that we are all part of this. We can all make a difference,"

Kill yourself now!

"Just goes to show you how much "wasted fluff money" is thrown at a projetc like Unreal 3. All hail Indie development! Eff publishers."

I wouldn't be quite so sure. Not that I am on anyone's side here (iD, Epic or Offset) but that's because I guarantee this engine misses a lot of the things those other engines will give you. Such as integrated AI (though Doom's AI was rather lame), workflow solidity not just for artists but for coders also not to mention years of experience in creating and licensing engines.

There's a lot more to making engines than just a renderer. Not an easy task and certainly will require more than 3 people to create. All they have shown here really is a shader pipeline as the editor.

That said though, I hope they create the coolest looking engine in history and a great game to go with it.

I'm not just talking about the story but the visual look and the collection of these strange pieces which don't fit together. Sure, anyone can make it fit together, but whether it's believable or not is another story.

It's like the original Unreal. Feels like the levels designers were given complete freedom over what to make (castle here, spacecraft there) and somehow they tied it all together afterwards.

Seems a little all over the place to me. Haphazzard elements strewn together with no real binding theme. There's the American Indian, then the walking on walls/gravity boots thing, aliens, the afterlife gameplay elements and demon like creatures all thrown together in a blender.

Maybe the game itself might do a better job at explaining the 40 different themes.

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. First fun racing game I had played in while (at least on pc). Brushing by some objects to top up the nitro was a little bit of an exploit, but nevertheless fun.

Lemme guess. Indy(Indi) is old and plays the mentor to young indy...

Seems at 2:30 when he says it is over some airbase, there is a cam move upwards and the object follows the cam move like it was a bug stuck to the lense. Bad camera match techniques?

That ufo thing is interesting. Being in Vegas I it's probably some way of introducing a new hotel/casino that will open next week.

I heard inclusion of co-op doesn't affect sales, which would explain why. But then again, I haven't seen co-op in a game for years so how can they tell?
