THE ONE THAT STARTED IT ALL!

I thought Dune II started it all.

Nope.

I think the differences become evident when comparing the majority of games containing something like soldiers or evil men who want to kill you, compared with characters who resemble small female girls and then given the choice of being able to kill them - I have to admit it's kinda weird.

Actually, I'd like to point to the whole Starforce thing as a giant victory for gamers. Starforce simply got bitched out of the market.

Yeah the bitching didn't help, but their monumentally arrogant and stupid dealings with the public were also a major problem. I'm so glad they have run into so many problems with publishers of late.

I have never see so many news stories for one game on bluesnews in 1 week's time.

Or so many people bitching at one time

Damned ugly too. I asked my wife why she married me and she said "Pity".

At least she followed through.

Companies should NOT be making sweeping changes that change the tone of the article and remove criticism regarding the company.

Agree, but have you read any articles on wiki that include any kind of controversial subject? It reads like a forum sometimes, where people clearly are trying to squeeze in their own point of view and then directly after you have someone elses retort to it.

Sometimes they are subtle enough not to be removed, but blatant enough to look like opinion. I think wiki is a bit of a joke in that respect.

Auto aim is a consequence of this input difference implemented by developers.

...and the console controllers inferiority over other input methods. You simply have to make the awkward controllers playable. Without it, playing fps's on consoles wouldn't be an option - at least not a fun one.

There's one way to solve this debate though. Lets get an fps that allows xbox players to face off against pc players. That'll sort the men out from the boys

... or for men who don't have the time to fuck around with drivers or configuration issues. There's a reason my gamer score is only 1100 after 9 months ...

I actually haven't had any major issues with pc games for many years now. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones?

Oh yeah edit: Really looking forward to this and if the reception is this good on Blues (how fitting a name for these forums ) then there must be something good here.

Look forward to a game with atmosphere. Been waiting for something that appeals and is slightly original in setting for a while. Bit disturbed about the girl character though and the prospect of trying to kill them. Weird.

id software is now kid friendly, I guess Jack Thompson can do his victory dance now.

It's all part of building a healthy business. If violence limits your customer base, why bother?
