Wow, over 10 years. Blue, thank you for consistent excellence and being THE go-to place for gaming news all these years.
i still dont understand how random the hitscan is.
there are times i get dropped from a non sniper rifle with one shot from across the map, while running.
there are times in a firefight where i am dead on the guy, 30 ping, high end system with no lag or skippage and i dont even hit him. (i ask).
i can hit a guy 5 times in the head, dead on.. and he turns and shoots me once and i die?
I consider this a feature. In war luck happens.
I'd say anybody who actually enters stands a good chance of winning.

Notice how they they announce an expansion before the Editor is done? I wonder how well planned that was. Get at least one expansion out before the mod community does something better!

Also, I think of Romero as the Steven Seagall of the gaming industry. He had an association with something cool in the distant past, but when his name comes up now people just chuckle.
...if the game is just a rehash of Doom III with a few gimmicks added? It cracks me up that they tagged it with the name "Prey". Does anybody remember the original press releases for "Prey" years and years ago? It's nearly as laughable as DNF.
