Around 13 million people have played divisive online first-person shooter Destiny since its launch in September, developer Bungie has revealed. Yeah, I bought the game and got bored of it after two play sessions. Wonder how many have done the same. |

Mad Max RW wrote on Nov 11, 2014, 09:42: Can anyone who bought the game say if it's anywhere near as popular as Borderlands 2 was at release? Nowadays high level coop servers are pretty damn sparse. Never used coop servers before, I have friends that I generally play the game often. I rather play solo than with a bunch of people I don't know. |

Quinn wrote on Oct 14, 2014, 03:32: Personally, I think the Borderlands games aren't that good multiplayer games. When I played Borderlands 2, I soon realized the multiplayer mode was basically the same as singleplayer, just with extra players competing for frags. You may think "Duh!?" at first, but realize that this game is made -- from scratch! -- as a multiplayer game. I think it's ridiculous that this "multiplayer" game adds no real sense of CO-OPERATION to the gameplay other than revival, trading and the vehicles. I don't know about Borderlands 3, but the games don't even have voice-commands. Even the 10+ year old Wolfenstein multiplayer (before Enemy Territory) had voice-commands... V41! You don't compete for frags, I don't think it even keeps track of kills outside of personal challenges and sure you can compare trophies I guess.. Voice commands?, the game is meant to be played with friends not some random people that you order around via crude pre-recorded messages bound to function keys.. The game is intended to be a mix between a shooter and the Diablo franchise, it's not trying to be what you are looking for. |

Are you from the 90's...
Tell the former me to invest in Apple, who am I kidding the former me would just laugh.. No idea what you are trying to say iTunes doesn't have GoT and doesn't even offer original Breaking Bad in Germany.
iTunes has literally the WORST selection of content of all available choices
Ps.: I am from the 80ies You see humor is a tricky thing, especially if the end person doesn't get it.
The term Warez.. It's not used much anymore.. last time I heard it used often was the mid to late 90's on IRC channels.
Who cares about what iTunes streams, Apple stock went from just under a dollar a stock in the mid to late 90's to over 100 dollars a stock today.. which is why I added the second part of the joke.. |

Or was it previously supported and needed hacks and this is just the sane version of that? I find it hilarious that you think that it was released for only one USB device..
As someone who deals with a ton of ARM embedded devices, I'm liking some of the additions to this Kernel release. |

Odd people say that, I've never had an issue with Seagate drives, but I have a literal pile of dead WD drives from the early 2000s, I suppose I should give them another chance, but SSDs are now the only thing I buy. |

You get some back story of some of the other Vault Hunters and such and some on going jokes, but honestly you don't really need to play the first one to enjoy the second. |

I would assume, that since it'll run a Wii emulator, it won't work. The WiiU doesn't use an emulator for Wii game compatibility, it's running a similar hardware architecture as the Wii and is binary compatible. There are some minor hardware/software differences that will break somethings of course.. |

People play games on boxes hitched to their TVs using gamepads without a mouse and keyboard?
I feel like a stranger in a strange land. |

I believe it, it's a electronic hobbyist dream computer.. easy access to IOs, small enough to fit into robotic projects, low power consumption, yet powerful enough to run a light weight linux desktop and videos at 1080p..
I have two, one setup on my electronic work bench, I've been playing with a few projects with it and I can code right on the thing. And another I've setup with a Media center OS. hitched directly to my TV.. it's a better media player than any of my consoles.. |
