I think you fell off the limb. If you've done any research on this game at all, you'll probably find that it looks like ALOT of fun. Its a really unique idea, and at the very least is a fresh bit of gameplay in what is becoming more a world of sequals and clones of the same game. IGN.com has some great gameplay movies with developer comments, not sure if its insider only though.
For some reason, I really liked this game. Maybe its because I played the XBOX version, and I played with a friend (we just switched turns). It was nice not having to play the terrible driving or NON-anolog sniping sequences everytime.
IMHO, the best thing about the game was the reward you got from playing it, more background on the movie.
The good news is the next version of the game HAS to be better.

I'm still looking foward to this.
It definitaly lacked polish. But it has some fantastic moments.. like punching a guy in the stomach with your pistols, picking him up, and then unloading a clip on him. Or kicking a gun out of someones hands and firing it on him. Good stuff. The driving and sniping sucked hard though. Really, really hard.
It pisses me off that so many of you are so jaded and blind that you refuse to recognize a great game when you see one.
Some people need to realize that games are about GAMES. You all are so worried that your precious <insert system here> will fail because it didnt get <insert game here> as an <insert exclusive/first/better> that you attempt to ridicule and sabatoge the success of that game, regardless of the games merrits.

to bad your just a pc fan boy, your missing out on a timeless game. Just like System Shock 2 is still a great game today, halo will stand the same. You should be glad you have the chance to play it.
