But indeed, one thing that annoys me is the lack of co-op in most of these games coming out. I want to see an excellent co-op DEMO to be released, now if that doesn't sell I dunno what will. (Aside from an HL2 demo)

It's just so rare to see that type of MP mode. It shocks me to no end seeing game after game possibly have tons more potential if only for some co-op lovin. :\

Yeah, subject is harsh, but not much seemed to change from the exclusive FP demo/test/whatever. Maybe they needed more time, but either way this doesn't do anything for me.

It just feels bad.. the guy that mentioned that it's like Planetside, that somewhat explains it pretty well, with a little less polish. Few fries short, you know? And oddly enough, I still had a weird "hitch" problem where it skips a whole lot. No hdd activity, not a ram problem, it's just a hard-hitch... like .2 second pauses in a pulse. *shrug* No matter...

Fear not, 25 days and 20 hours to go if you know what I mean.

To me, something feels missing.. maybe it's the fact that you need to pay for this, monthly. And add to the fact that after that month, you have NOTHING to show for it.

Listening to the testers is definitely something they didn't do.. and adding insult to injury, they upped the difficulty of getting to higher battle ranks, a completely pointless move imho. (It felt just right at the time.)

Don't get me wrong.. with a nice squad going, it CAN be fun, but it's more trouble than it's worth. (Going through three or four straight squads that are absolute assholes and know nothing of organization can really ruin your day.) I got more satisfaction from Tribes. (Not T2, Tribes, but that's just me.)

I'll just sit in my HL2 fanboi corner and wait for this gem to be released.

Indeed, The Specialist has one of the best weapon models I've ever seen. Whoever did them got it down good. It feels JUST right, seeing as they are so limited by the HL engine.

On to the HL2 engine I say!!

I dunno what was up with the demo for EF2, but it wasn't exactly stellar. Actually, I thought it was quite a lame-duck piece.
