I applied but could not upload the dxdiag.txt file. It kept telling me it was an invalid file, when of course its a perfectly good one. Dunno, maybe they have some kinks to work out in their signup process.
Lol WoW not mmorpg lite eh? Then how come the forums are full of stories of people's six year old kids playing it?
Anyways Vanguard is a good game, especially for EQ vets. But I'd say the development was mishandled in a big way. Maybe SOE will do a better job than Sigil....get the bugs squashed...start adding raid content etc.
Lol if there's one thing you can count on is bitching and complaints on bluesnews.
I was in beta since 2005 and had doubts about buying. Well I decided to go for it and was very pleasantly surprised to see that the performance issues are mostly gone and its pretty smooth on my 2 year old pc on 'balanced' settings.
I'm also having a lot of fun playing it. Its not easy mode like WoW yet it improves on many things from EQ 1.
Don't listen too much to the complainers since there's tons of positive posts around the net about the release version. Lots of disillusioned beta testers have no idea how much things are improved.
This could be the big one, the 'holy grail' of cancer drugs; since the mitochondrial action seems to apply to most (all?) types of tumours. Will be very interesting to see how the trials with actual cancer patients turn out.
Nothing wrong with ads, blue deserves $$ for all his efforts. However; POPUPS are annoying as heck. I'd certainly never click on and buy anything from a pop ad, the annoyance factor does not put me in an interested mood.
These popups really stink. Before, Firefox would block them and you'd only see them if you used IE. But now they appear for Firefox users too ! C'mon Blue, there's gotta be a better form of advertising. They are extremely intrusive and a pain in the ass.
