The demo was utter crap. How they could release such an unfinished work is beyond me, I'm ready for this game to be another DNF letdown cash grab.

With so many garbage games, it should be the worst 100 games of the year.

Studies have already proven no corrilation between violent video games and an overall increase in violent crime statistics.

Seems that story driven games are so much easier to make. Mood and atmosphere with todays technology isn't that demanding. I'm seeing too many of these type games recently.

I still cringe at the boring overly long underwater fight scenes near the end of Thunderball. Exciting action music accompanies extended underwater fight scenes that move at a snails pace. I mean, guys fighting it out underwater is slow by default.

"The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver on a true next-gen vision for the franchise." Golly gee, just what PC owners wanted to hear.

Now we're seeing a tidal wave of games developed by thousands with knowledge to do so. This site is getting ridiculous promoting news of so called "game developers" who number by the thousands now and put out forgettable crap games, also by the thousands. Belly up to the bar, folks. Plenty to be had.

Hated that one C&C, I think is was Tiberian Sun, where the enemy would send burrowing mining tanks that would pop up thru the ground with no rhyme or reason as to where they would pop up. Really dumb and annoying arbitrary AI. I quit that game and the series after that release, having enjoyed the previous C&C's. To this day, I still play C&C:Renegade multiplayer using the downloadable Renlist server sniffer.

Video cards getting closer to true cinema like graphics while, for a large part, games have long since hit a brick wall.

The graphics aren't overdone like every developer seems they have to be since graphic cards are getting towards 200 billion transistors. The backround is at least a subdued color, I can't stand insane colors in a game just because they can be, are obligated to be. I'm not a big fan of speeded up gameplay either. Games today have everyone seemingly playing on crack as far as movement goes. That's why some games are getting remastered. It's like, fps games today have to over jazz to justify your buying the latest video card every 2 years. That's now how it has to be, unfortunately. Onward and upward to a ridiculous degree. I'm glad to have lived and played during the golden years of PC games, before it hit a wall and graphics became king.
