Studies have already proven no corrilation between violent video games and an overall increase in violent crime statistics.

Seems that story driven games are so much easier to make. Mood and atmosphere with todays technology isn't that demanding. I'm seeing too many of these type games recently.

Wonder if anyone did a "Doom Project" type visual upgrade for this series.

I still cringe at the boring overly long underwater fight scenes near the end of Thunderball. Exciting action music accompanies extended underwater fight scenes that move at a snails pace. I mean, guys fighting it out underwater is slow by default.

"The technical advancements of the new consoles are allowing the team to deliver on a true next-gen vision for the franchise." Golly gee, just what PC owners wanted to hear.

Now we're seeing a tidal wave of games developed by thousands with knowledge to do so. This site is getting ridiculous promoting news of so called "game developers" who number by the thousands now and put out forgettable crap games, also by the thousands. Belly up to the bar, folks. Plenty to be had.

Hated that one C&C, I think is was Tiberian Sun, where the enemy would send burrowing mining tanks that would pop up thru the ground with no rhyme or reason as to where they would pop up. Really dumb and annoying arbitrary AI. I quit that game and the series after that release, having enjoyed the previous C&C's. To this day, I still play C&C:Renegade multiplayer using the downloadable Renlist server sniffer.

Video cards getting closer to true cinema like graphics while, for a large part, games have long since hit a brick wall.

The graphics aren't overdone like every developer seems they have to be since graphic cards are getting towards 200 billion transistors. The backround is at least a subdued color, I can't stand insane colors in a game just because they can be, are obligated to be. I'm not a big fan of speeded up gameplay either. Games today have everyone seemingly playing on crack as far as movement goes. That's why some games are getting remastered. It's like, fps games today have to over jazz to justify your buying the latest video card every 2 years. That's now how it has to be, unfortunately. Onward and upward to a ridiculous degree. I'm glad to have lived and played during the golden years of PC games, before it hit a wall and graphics became king.

The co-op was cool way back when. Single player not so much for me these days. It's still a one trick pony of a game, but way back it was revolutionary to have that many enemies coming at ya. I didn't like the setting in SS3. Middle eastern settings as if that was mandatory. I contributed in a small way as others did on SS1. Me (Innova) and others got end game listing credits.

I had no "passion" for Crysis as their blog refers to. Heh (I did before it was released, bought a new system for it). The game had controversy on the day it was released. Now it has more, 13 years later.

Many like me bought a new PC around the game's hype before the release only to find our rigs couldn't run it at the highest settings. To tell you the truth, I was underwhelmed by the game and have few if any fond memories of it. I do however remember how annoying it was at times. Like the part along side a river bank with trees. It seems every tree had an unseen enemy solider taking a leak behind it only to suddenly step out from behind and start firing at you. This continued all the way down the river's banks. Annoyed the hell outta me.

Not sure what a remaster will do for Battlefield 3. For what it was, it was fine, graphics wise. What can they possibly do? C&C needed a remaster. BF3? HA! Will a netcode and hit detection upgrade wow me? No...it was pretty ok and still is. This looks like EA going for a cash grab on the heels of C&C getting a lot of favorable reviews. After BF2, I lost interest. BF2 should be getting the remaster, not BF3.

A rehash for the sake of rehashing. Gee, what new can we implement for those who we can string along? Stay tuned, you faithful who are easy to please are no doubt in anticipation of being jazzed. Don't forget to have to buy the latest CPU and Video card as technological visual advancements is all games like this (who have run out or ideas) can do. That is, make it more visually lifelike and therefore a must have. A title that just keeps reeling in buyers.

With a new game being released every hour of every day, I feel less than jazzed about the dozens of games being released daily.
