Ascaron hasn't put out one non bugged game in the last 10years.

Name one game in the last 10 years that didn't have bugs ; )

I know nothing about this company, but I tried out the demo and I had a lot of fun... I didn't see any gameplay bugs, tho the game has some design flaws as in items and skill development, but it's a demo ; )

I'm definately looking forward to giving it a try, but I don't see it being a diablo clone. It's more like a mixup of baldur's gate style RPGs and Diablo. In other words, it has some RPG elements (as opposed to Diablo), but it's got a lot more action than Baldur's Gate RPGs.

Anyways.. there's my rant...

I got an average of about .25 or so the first time because I wasn't looking directly at the screen, expecting some horridly ugly/scary picture to pop up midway through ; )

To kill the bug, we must understand the bug.

I do what I like and I like what I do, in that order : )

But yes, my job is related to my personality.

And I was good at everything, so a choice of professions was limitless : )

But yes, some people are made for some jobs. Find what that is and you too can be happy : )

so maybe this time next year.

Indeed... I used to live my days in the angst of hype, but no longer. I see a game i'm interested in and if there's no chance it'll be out in the next 3 months, I just ignore it. I've had a few games creep on me that were pretty good and this has been a much happier way to deal with vaporware.

One unfortunate exception is World of Warcraft, which I'm happily riding the hype-wagon all the time ; )

My God, the hours of my life I wasted on those games. Good fun though.

Never did understand this mass-market mentality (meaning it's a common feeling).

If you had fun, how is it a waste of time?

The meaning of MY life is entertainment ; ) That's why going into a field I enjoy was my only option.

Where exactly ARE these significant price drops?

They're part of 'Future World'.

If you all will just listen to the list of posts here...

EF2 > U2, U2 > Chaser, Chaser > EF2, and all other combinations.

You may wonder what's happening here. It's called having an opinion. Sure, most people here are asses about expressing theirs, because, naturally, their opinion is the only right one.

Where can I sign up for the adult version of these boards? : )

Perhaps we could start a petition online to get Blue to always bold the game names from now on : )

At least in posts where more than one game is mentioned. I was finding it very handy to skip all the crap I don't care about ; )

Additional characters can be created for the charge of $1.00 per character per month.

Not bloody likely.

Up until that point, I was definitely going to try this game out : )

Guess I'll continue waiting for WoW...

They fix problems with UT2003 and NWN? This is why I haven't bought a ATI card.

Ya... can't imagine why you'd want drivers that fix stuff.

movies (well, 99% of them) require no brain-power to enjoy

I don't think so. Have you ever seen a good movie? Memento, American Beauty, Adaptation, Se7en, Do the Right Thing, and even Pulp Fiction require quite a bit of thought to fully understand. There are COUNTLESS others.

This statement doesn't even come close to disproving the original statistic (and remember, 67% of statistics are made up on the spot).

There may be COUNTLESS (read as many) movies that require some thought, but there are SO MANY MORE (read as so many more) that don't.

Blue, Man...

My day simply can't start until I've read ALL my morning web sites, and when this site isn't updated until 11am (my time), I end up wasting so much precious time sitting here constantly hitting Refresh...

I have a plastec Lightsaber. In fact my cousin has an original Darth Vader lightsaber, its old and out of the box, but the plastic is so strong it could kill a small animal. I myself have a cheap darth maul one and a Master Replica Anakin Skywalker FX Lightsaber.

Don't admit to it man!!!

Now half the list is going to think they're better than you ; )

My Gawd people. I see the same shit over n over. It's a bunch of sheep following the same trained thought over and over and it's sickening.

Sure, when a genre 'makes it big', there are lots of clones, as there were with FPS, RTS, etc. But that doesn't automatically make every game in that genre a clone, and it sure as hell doesn't mean they can't add new and innovative things to it.

That's like saying Half-life was just another wolf3D clone. Ridiculous to say the least.

So please, at least stand up if you're going to talk out of your ass, and while you're standing, take a deep breath and realize that chances are, when next you reply on this forum, you're going to sound like an ass : )
