I think it looks fine, would like to see it in motion though. Online Wipeout might make me pick up a PS3 more so than Metal Gear. I just don't even know what sku to buy at this point, I'd like b/c with ps2. Do they even sell that option in North America anymore?

Anyone have any experience with ordering from the redoctane.com store? Specifically did anyone preorder gh II for the ps2 off of it and when did it ship?

Yeah, they pulled out an Ace up the sleeve with their online aspect. I'm just afraid the price point will keep the machine out of most homes for so long that they will never be able to overcome it. It's going to be an interesting year for the consoles.

Different take for everyone, I never tried WoW till January of this year. Finally decided to give it a look when it was a $40 investment for the game and a couple months of play. I've managed to get up to lvl 35 so far and I'm digging the game. I should also preface that I've never have played any other MMORPG. I think the game is what you make it though, I haven't tried to grind to level up on it. I just get online a couple nights a week and try to complete quests here and there and meet up with a group outside an instance. That being said, it's really been the most fun online I've had since quake or the second coming of team fortress for half-life. The majority of the time people seem good natured and fun to play with.

It's odd that EA doesn't develop a version of Madden specifically for the pc. The online on the console is the most appealing aspect of the game imho. Most pc handheld controllers are comparable to console ones now. 4 on 4 at the skill positons on offense and defense would be fun. Maybe Madden PC does this now, they just never bothered to tell anyone.

I did pay money, bought some points to get the xbox arcade games. In the future I would stream to the xbox 360 in the living room, but I'm still using xp sp2.

Finally jumped on board the next gen with a 360 purchase this weekend. I love the tv show downloads on the 360 more than I anticipated, so why sony hasn't adopted moives yet is puzzling. I thought it was being marketed as an entertainment hub than just a game player. I was tempted to try some of their HD movie rentals now that I have a external USB drive hooked up too it.

Good old Valve, king of the let's ship a year after we announce our first release date. It's almost like clockwork now.

Can't they just do the old RBI Baseball trick of just having sound alike names, those were great.

This game and Dead Rising were the early preview videos that makes me think about jumping on board and buying a 360. I'll wait for the reviews to come out, but I'll have that tax return money coming pretty soon.

Back on topic some what, I was bored and watched all 45 minutes of that NES "documentary" from gamespot. It was actually kind of nostolgic for people of my age. I felt it odd that they omitted talking about Castlevania even though they used the graphics. They omitted Ninja Gaiden also, which was sad. Overall it was pretty good if you grew up at a time when the only thing to have was an NES.

Yeah nin the hard drive size alone is what is gonna make me wait. I do have an HDMI capable tv though and I've almost bought a "core" a few times, but the price of their 20gb hard drive is just a laf.

I was thinking about taking the plunge on a 360 this week. Guess I'll wait it out a bit longer now.

This game rocked, fans of Advance Wars for the Game Boy Advance should check it out. Now if I could just find a Wii to buy.

I thought Acclaim went out of buisness a few years ago, where is my Wizards and Warriors online game.

I don't know, I kind of passed off the xbox 360 as a higher resolution version of current technology. Like most of the Sega machines after the the Genesis. I don't see anything on the radar right now for the PS3 that makes me feel any differently. Now the Wii, witch obvioulsy will not be able to compete graphically with either system, does intriuge me if this control thing is worth a crap and not a vitrual boy.

I don't remember the killing my dad and step family cause I was mad he hit me in any of the GTA games missions.
