A less classy publisher would just release the so-so product and get as much money as they can off of the poor saps who bought it. I guess Microsoft has the luxury of flushing three years of development down the toilet when it turns out shit since they are made of money. It is possible for these trinkets to inform, as well as entertain, you know? If he got his way, the result would be games with more intelligent, relevant and poignant stories/events for the player to take part in. How can you not want that?

It looks pretty good, but not really all that much better than Doom3 would look if it weren't held down by videocards with only 64 megs of ram instead of 1Gb, and GeForce2 compatibilty.
