No wonder I didn't get my Steam notification of it being available today despite being on my Wishlist for months if not a year. That sucks. If anything EGS has become such an annoyance more than anything else.

Rather than buy exclusively, how about just offer it at a cheaper price at launch or something? Let people have OPTIONS! I hate being forced and will not abide by it.

If all the remakes and remasters hasn't shown you creativity is dying, I don't know what else can.

Personally, I'm not into these massive online shooters that everyone can jump into because Free 2 Play, but then the cool stuff is locked behind a pay wall or lengthy grind.

I'm old school in that I rather give you 40-50 bucks and get 100% of the product given to me (if the game is worth that much to begin with).

To me the games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, and anything battle royalish was a step in a direction away from what I'm into as a gamer. I know there are plenty who enjoy them (clearly), but I'm not part of that crowd. I hope good ole fashion storytelling doesn't die in gaming. That's what I grew up on and still prefer it today.

Cool. I remember playing the original still but never really much the sequels that came after.

I wouldn't mind giving this a go once it hits bargain bin.

Mafia 1 definitely holds a special place in my heart when it came out. Was like playing a family drama crime movie. Done really well. Not sure how it holds up nowadays but I wouldn't mind replaying it remastered. Sucks because I do own the original disc still but never got it in my Steam library. Hate to pay full price for it.

Mafia 2 not as excited to get back to as I never got too far in it to begin with. Surprisingly I don't own it on Steam. Not sure how I came to play it because I don't got it on disc either...

Mafia 3 I uninstalled not too long ago and didn't get too far either. Just didn't hold my attention at all. No real interest to try it again but I will say it looked great so I'm not sure what else they could do to enhance it much more graphically.

Steam without competition is obviously more ruthless when it comes to pulling in all potential $$$. WIth Epic out there and trying to be the good guys (for now), it shows how simple an action such as giving back someone a refund due to a sale is. Since Steam are the kind that hope you do not realize a game goes on sale and hope you do not ask for that difference refunded.

Steam is going to have to step it up on the very minuscule solutions because that is where Epic is going to win a lot over.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm also one that is done with all those seasonal sale events that they put out. I think they put too much effort in to those and ultimately their goal is to drive you to buy more to earn more useless coins/tokens, whatever. The best they ever did was you could earn tokens to earn a discount on your next purchase. I fell for that in where I ended up spending more than I wanted to just to continue collecting the discount code.

Otherwise, most of their events give you useless rewards.

I enjoyed the heck out of the original Stronghold. I feel like every game after it went down the toilet. Especially when they dipped into 3D graphics. The graphics were pretty bad when compared to other RTS games out at the time.

This one doesn't look as bad... Surprisingly I think I enjoyed the economic side of the game more than the combat. The music was quite relaxing as you build your fort. The combat on the other hand was a bit too hectic and nutty. Remember those arrow volleys? lol.

I think it's because too many either try to be too realistic/simulatorish or others aren't arcadey enough. Like Tony Hawk hit the perfect balance of fun in a skateboard game.

Honestly, who wants a skateboard simulator when you could probably get your ass up, go outside, and try the real thing? At that point you will find it's either, not for you/boring, or you love it.

With the game, I don't care anything about skateboarding but it was just a fun game done well.

I just uninstalled WC3 Reforged today, lol.

This coming from one of the biggest WC3 fans back in it's original days. I suppose nostalgia does sell and that's probably why I bought WC3 Reforged. I knew I wasn't going to get back into at the same level and depth I put in to the original. I just was hoping to revisit the charm that made the original so amazing for me.

I don't think it should have been so difficult to pull off but Blizz f**ked it up bad. It just felt whack and didn't have anything that made the original so amazing. Then again, that could just be due to the times have changed. When WC3 came out, it was defining for it's time. The hero based RTS was mastered with WC3. Since then we've had copy cats and the genre saturated.

I think the same will go with Diablo 2. With so much that has come out since, Diablo 2 remastered just might feel old anyway and not have that nostalgic 2000 feeling.

This announcement came out of nowhere for me. I had no clue. I can only just remember trying out Spawn and now this is announced and only 2 weeks until release... Robocop looks awesome. It's amazing how accurate they can bring characters to life these days. They leave NOTHING to the imagination.

With that said, the price is a very hard pill to swallow. When I think of Ori 2 which is 30 bucks and I haven't picked that up because of the price, and then this DLC with 3 characters... some skins and new content, but 40 dollars worth???

I hate bring up Witcher 3 so much but considering how much good it brought when it was released, it set a new standard for me. I believe the 2nd DLC, Blood and Wine was only 15 bucks when it came out. The DLC had so much content, it could have been sold as it's own game practically. You get more than 15 hours of game play out of it and yet there are games being sold for 60 bucks that barely hit 6 hours of game play these days...

If you played Witcher 3, guess what, it had mutilations with limbs flying, decapitations and plenty of sex scenes.

Though like someone said regarding Mafia, the sex scenes in Witcher 3, excluding the visits to the brothel, they are all setup real well and mostly depend on making the right dialogue choices. It rather feels like an accomplishment in the end when you do score, lol.

I thought this was doing Okay when it came out. I had it on my Wishlist for a bit but eventually lost interest in it and removed it.

I'll def take case free but dunno if I'll ever install it. Too much backlog...

Can't agree with that. I came from original Mafia and even gave Mafia 2 a shot. I beat Mafia 1 and thought it was incredible for it's time. Story was like watching a good movie.

Mafia 2 started out decent but just couldn't keep me invested enough to get to the end.

Mafia 3 I heard a lot of negative but put that aside to pick it up. Upon playing it, my first thoughts were that it didn't feel anything really like Mafia. The environment and characters. The shooting is fun but something was really missing to keep me hooked. I threw in the towel sooner than Mafia 2 with it.

With that said, Mafia 3 could almost be called something else because of how much different I found it. Even still, whatever it would be called, it is lacking the need to go back and continue factor.
