PC gaming is DEAD to me due to DRM. I'll just buy all my games on the consoles from now on.

I actually expect to see ads in between level loads within a year. (which will increase the time between levels of course)

Can you imagine EA salivating at the thought of how much advertising they could do in Grand Theft Auto 5 ?!!? Just think of all those ads they could have in times square in the latest version?..

To be honest, I would hope Take Two is insulted at a measly one billion hostile take-over. If ONE of their games can pull down half a billion, I would think the whole company would be worth a hella lot more!

I already deleted my bookmarks and canceled my subscription to gamespot. Hearing that Cnet plans to focus on pleasing the advertisers makes my decision all that more wise.

They should scrap the NFS yearly update and bring back a next gen Road Rash.. chains, bats and kicks all back in its glory. The time is right.. do it EA.

I know its not 10gig! I was just saying its no slouch when it comes to power. The first page of this thread seemed to suggest its "just" a console game.

Five years is about right.. you guys seem to forget that the 360 has THREE 3.2 processors in it. Its like having a 10gig rig. Besides.. they don't have time to port it to the PC they are busy working on GoW2 right now.

HAHAHA.. that Gears of War problem is funny as shit. The guy wonders why he's getting errors, but fails to see connection that his 360 has only 1 inch of clearance in his rack system. Overheating maybe... d'oh.

People .. use the DRIVER ONLY version and use ATI TOOL to control everything. CCC is a real P.I.T.A. and bloatware.

yeah.. I believed it too.. whew. I can see them trying that shit..

(if a TV company can patent a way to stop you from fast forwarding and changing the channel when commericals start.. this isn't that hard to believe ya know?..)

Gears Of War is coming for the PC but its not coming until Vista and DirectX 10 are available. THAT'S the reason behind the vague M$ comments. They need to justify having us replace our perfectly fine XP with VISTA/DirectX10 so lets dangle Gears Of War, Alan Wake, Crysis, Halo2, and Shadowrun.. among others.

Pretty obvious to me.

Augh!! Thanks for the demo EA.. I'll be passing this round. Loved all the NFS series but this one is really really bad.

next time .. you might want to include a way to look behind you and change your view mkay?..

Hmm.. a little leary of this demo. After EA's last BS title Battlefield ADS I'm thinking this demo might have some trojan stuff in it. Anyone know if its got 'extra' stuff we DONT want attached to it??

Wow.. tough crowd. I for one, relish the release of AA FPS games. Whether they do something new or not, I'm always up for a interesting ride though a shooter. You guys are just too jaded I guess.

Good news.. I'm all for this one. I really like the both the SP and MP of F.E.A.R. this looks to be just as good.

I think the new patch today has added some features that will be in Extraction Point. Sticky nades and mines can now be picked up. Also you can "point" the "target sighted" to a specifc point anywhere in sight.. making for a great way to mark groups of enemies.
