TURN OFF your refresh rate fix program, like reforce. or use halo.exe -vidmode1024,768,100
and see my post from yesterday about -use14 for speed increase, and no specular in options menu

Here is a tip that may help you, try running the game with this in your command line/shortcut.
Halo.exe -use14
and turn off Specular in the options menu in the game. It was a huge increase in speed for me. or you can try
-use11 or -use14 for directx 8.1 or lower video cards
-use20 for directx 9 like Redeons or gf fx cards
its all in the pixel shaders. Iam running 10x7 with everything on high, without specular on.
i have a P4 2.4, GF4 4200ti, 512 MB 2700, Win xp

These guys started out on Amiga long ago. Early 90's i think. And this is there first game release on the PC.
There old stuff wasnt so bad. Genetic Species was there first FPS they made. I wish them best of luck trying to get in the PC market.
