I just hope they speed up player movement because the player is way too slow in Unreal for MP. Its always good to see a company take the time to do fan requests so I don't see what there is to complain about.

Who knows maybe will this become the Sims Online, a popular franchise that failed in the MMO genre due to flawed gameplay.

The game looks fine except for the textures, in a war torn city I don't expect building walls to be insanely smooth, they need some gritt on them.

I bet it will sell at least a million copies if it is released around the movie.

I'm the one lost? Do you even bother to read CRAW's posts? All I see here is someone criticizing for completely DIFFERENT reasons for what you listed and didn't take it personally until someone from your "very nice community" flamed him so he retorted. I'm not even going to touch the CS insults and such since CRAW covered that in his previous post, why don't you read it instead of just deciding to flame ppl. In the words of DrEvil: lol, when in doubt call everyone that hates this trash of a game a CS freak. Now why don't you take your gay reference sophmoric jokes somewhere else and actually try to defend some of the criticisms brought against this game. Very boring, the whole thing made you feel detached from the enviroment, the game had no flow at all. I'll just some up the graphics by saying they are ugly. There is little feedback whether or not your weapons are doing anything, the "uberweapon" made a few little dismal sparks on the ground when I fired it at close range, otherwise you see no effect from the fire. The weapons are WAY too accurate, I was able to pretty much snipe with the HWguy.

The AI is just dumb, it reminded me of the 007 Night Fire demo, if I sniped somebody his buddies would not react. Their behavior doesn't seem to vary much from running at you guns-a-blazing. They don't make use of cover at all, I came across a barricade where some of the dopes had been placed behind, they actually ran out of their well defended position and proceeded to run straight towards me. Your friendly AI isn't too bad, but they get stuck on objects and will occasionally start shooting walls. The only real problem I had with them is they love to charge at the enemy no matter what they are facing, really annoying with the turrets, but its easily solved by just telling them to hang back.

The enemy spawning really is a drawback, basically what you have here is a big, ugly, sparse island that appears to be a ghost town until you move down a path and then some enemies spawn 20ft in front of you.

I can't really understand why this was released. I'm going to geuss the devs were pressured into releasing this, I'm really doubting they wanted this to be our first taste of breed. Hard to say how the game will turn out since this is more of a beta than a demo, still needs a lot of work.

I never see ppl crouch and burst fire, mostly it seems to running from cover to cover until they're close enough to circle and spray each other. If anyone does actually start crouching their going to get sniped, of course it is my opinion that anybody who starts crouch in a middle of a battlefield should die. For those idiots earlier in the thread saying the sniper rifle is an uber weapon have obviously never played the game or never tried the bolt driver.

I find it no different from a 64 player tribes server, since your going to be seeing the same amount of ppl on screen. Think of it this way, you have 10 guys at the capture point, 20 guys on the battlements, 20 guys around each tower, 50 guys in the courtyard, and the rest running around outside the base. Its not like your going to turn a corner and see 50 ppl dishing it out. Now keep in mind I said TOPS, you will normally not see 200 ppl fighting for a base, but it does happen.

I am not expecting too much, planetside has showed it can hold battles in the 300-500 player range, but as I said the whiners ruined the only real purpose of planetside, to provide large scale battles.
