Gimpz0r is just an attention whore, don't let him derail the thread.

After Microsoft's problems with Nvidia who is suprised?

At least those gifts are better than Serious Sam's "special edition" sticker.

The Sims Online failed because there wasn't enough content for a hardcore gamer and a bugged release with a monthly fee was too much for a casual gamer.

You will be able to import your characters, expect Sims 2 to be a big hit.

The difference is Joe is that Valve didn't announce the game. The reason Valve was flamed was because of TF2, they made a news post about switching to a new engine for TF2 and that there would be "more details in the coming months" and then just let that community die without saying a word.

I liked Academy and will be buying.

I wonder how that beta leak came about though, I haven't seen any finger pointing.

What I like about this game is the MASSIVE single player improvements.

I hated how in JK2 missions would take something like an hour each, and how you had to DOOM it out for a few missions before you got a sabre.

Jedi Academy, not only are the missions shorter (finished most in under 15 minutes), but a lot of them are more creative. I'm thinking the swoop race, and the big worm a-la tremors missions, among others.

All in all less repetitive and much more standable.

Force rage however is rather unbalanced. At max level it takes 20 health off, provides a 90% damage resistance, an insane damage boost, and a speed boost as well. To give you an idea of its power, when fighting the final boss on the dark side, the fight lasted for less than 4 seconds. I swear to god thats not hyperbole either.

You guys need to play the demo, I agree that the movies are not extremely impressive. I really did enjoy the demo however.

It wasn't apart of the 500/600 mb file, for some reason it was left out, you could still download it seperately however.

There are these things in games... disclaimers...that say something about coincidence.

He certainly did take his sweet time to sue, maybe it will get thrown out like those washed up bands that tried to sue Nirvana because they sued years after Nirvana been successful.

Wiggamoe Valve has said that the new HL2 videos are only being released through steam, but you are allowed to distribute the videos. Fileplanet does not have an exclusive and are not charging for it, they simply did what every other site did and got it off steam.
