Yep, that hospital sure wasn't prepared to do the kind of cases it was doing. No ACLS coverage and they do anesthesia? Hard to believe.

Nice link and interesting article. So giving a brain damaged patient Ambien woke up other parts of their brain? Who would have thought taking a sleeping pill would help someone like that. To me it would be very counter-intuitive.

I'll probably pick this one up, but the demo was a bit.......lacking. I couldn't get a feel for the game, there was too much other junk, like the intro credits. It was short, and dark. It could be good, but I can't tell from the movies and media I've seen so far.

Wow, I didn't think the Giants would make it that close. That was pretty entertaining towards the end. Though I haven't followed them closely it seemed to be pretty symbolic of their season.
My old home town Chargers look pretty good. Maybe this time they won't crush the souls of their fans when they play New England. I used to live back there as well, so I'm happy either way.

Yeah, I played this piece of excrement, and was one of the first beta testers to boot. I'm still not buying into all the crap the PR crybabies spew about how fun the game is whenever a new patch comes out.
Here's a thought, maybe some of us are tired of supporting the patch cycle that is the BF series. 2142 was shipped so broken that it will likely be a year before it's playable. More power to you if that kind of thing is "fun" for you. It's a $20 un-finished mod masquerading as a premium title.

Heh. Who cares about E3 anymore? It's an old tired has been. New format = yawn.
I saw it, and thought it was entertaining. Realistic? Probably not. There are so few WW I flight movies out it's still a must see. Just seeing some of those planes up in the air is a real treat.
I did find myself saying "What the heck?" a couple of times. The planes climbed into battle like they had mini afterburners, and there was even one "hit the brakes and let the guy fly by me" momement. The movie is also chock full of the typical Hollywood war movie stereotypes.
I got a kick out of it, and I don't regret seeing it. It definitely has some big screen visuals.
