Because it's easy to sell yourself if you manage to piss people off. It creates publicity (remember even bad publicity is still publicity), and makes you seem like the hot story of the moment. Or maybe I'm just trying to sound too samrt.

Am I the only one that thought GTA3 was better than Vice City both stylisticly and story-wise? Probably, but just wanted to ask.

As the subject might imply, I can't seem to find the command line that controls the refresh rate. I'd imagine it's somewhere in the System folder near the resolution controls, yet they're being elusive to my eyes. Any help would be appreciated as I would really like to play this demo.

i'm sure something like this has been said before, but i'm too lazy to go through all those whines and gripes about the game so i'll just say it again. i just played through half life for the first time on my new fancy money-devouring machine. without the hidef pack. it may have been a tad painful on the eyes, but i still had one of the best times i've ever had on my pc. what im saying is, if the game plays well, who gives a crap if the graphics are less than absolutely perfect? considering that even 'attack of the clones', even with all its months and hundreds of programmers looked completely fake 99% of the time, why are you complaining that a computer game doesn't look like what you see in your waking life? plus, i think it looks rather nice compared to doom2.
