OK well thats all and good. But...
So If I buy HL2 MP/SP at my local BestBuy..
Register up with Steam...yadda yadda...
Will I still have to pay for the standalone mods that are released afterwards?
If so, why can't we just have it the way it used to be? Is there anyone else who thinks the old system is just as good?

56. Re: Confirmed Delay - NOVEMBER Aug 11, 2003, 01:55 Cosmas

I know there are many of you that are by now a bit tired of all the minusha of the media being rather dodgy of the topic. I also know that most of you are still skeptical about the release. But in all fairness to common coder knowledge I call upon the more logical of you to remeber this. The longer it is delayed....the better it will be. And of course, remember why you are here. Not because of the endless yammering on the topic itself, but because we all share a common interest. The prophecy will be fulfilled soon. And we will prevail.

News Comments > Freelancer Demo

I think what everyone should remember is that this is a product of Microsoft. Not to say that that is a bad thing, and not to say that it is good either. To those who dismiss Freelancer b/c of its lack of joystick support, WOE I SAY TO YOU! MS has never released a game that didn't have joystick support, what makes you think this will be any different. They are merely trying to introduce something new and unique, and I salute to that! Furthermore, people disappointed by the demo should realize..........ITS A DEMO, and as the (few) English majors amoung you know that means "Demonstration" so not ALL the features are implemented. That is my rant. Let's just try to get along. Peace out.
