"The development of AI of this level was not a piece of cake.

Which the video clearly shows. Soldiers don't go prone when being fired at, others run around in circles under fire. Some guy with a bazooka stands in the middle of a firefight looking around with bullets flying by next to him. It looks like a mess.

History of blaming entertainment for violence in America:

1900s - Burlesque causes violence!
1930s - Jazz causes violence!
1950s - Rock & Roll causes violence!
1970s - Punk Rock causes violence!
1980s - Heavy Metal causes violence!
1990s - Hip Hop causes violence!
2000+ - Games cause violence!

Hitler was an Opera fan. George Bush likes Country music.

Bloodrayne proves that Uwe Boll has made a deal with the devil. How does someone without a single acceptable, yet alone successful movie manage to con so many stars and continue to acquire funding for his nightmare visions of mediocrity?

It is either the devil or some other force intent on turning the world into retards. Could be Bill Gates...

Coincidence that Source engine developers are biting the dust faster than Sony Rootkit CDs?! "If you build it, you will fold!"

I think this is due to:

1. Valve's fascist STEAM protocol and micromanagement. If you mod on the Source engine, you have Valve breathing down your neck.

2. The majority of dedicated Valve fans are of the Counterstrike variety. They don't really have any intention to try other types of gameplay, and certainly not a pay MMORPG, they just want more free Counterstrike or "bonus content."

3. It's extremely time-consuming to make anything but a simple multiplayer mod. It's also difficult to make anything complex with an inexperienced team. It's not impossible, but you have to be realistic with your options and capabilities.

I hope it's not out for a couple more years, I don't feel like buying a new PC yet.

I beleive they've already hinted that it will be another FPS. I just hope that they hire some fresh design talent and a professional writer.

Maybe they could hire the guy who wrote the Doom movie.

"if they find content to be misleading or deceptive."

That alone would put the entire gaming industry out of business overnight.

While "pirating" music might get you stuck in a $3000-$5000 lawsuit settlement, the chances of that happening are about the same as winning the lottery. Now it seems "legitimately" buying music and playing on your computer gives you much higher odds of having your operating system crippled.

Yeah, I think Sony has done more to increase piracy with this than anything to limit it. People are not going to want to buy unsafe CDs now that they don't know what evil might be hidden within. Is a CD worth military-grade protection and all this hassle? Go listen to some old music, maybe even a VINYL RECORD, you don't need this corporate hippity-hoppity "music" for anything except brain damage and bad console game soundtracks.

Hell, whatever turned him must have been pretty horrific.

The Ubisoft marketing department?

Sad to see another franchise dead. Or maybe not. Who's going to make the next good espionage game? I'm sure someone will.

RIP Sam Fisher. He's going to that same place that American Godzilla, the Alien and Predator, Jar-Jar, and Gay Batman are in now. The land of washed-up franchises.

Why rootkits mean you must nuke your machine

No, it means we must nuke Sony and whoever else tries to pull a stunt like this again!

Even the American government is trying to crack down on games by subtly telling us that it's like taking drugs.

Ironic, considering how many American politicians are on psychoactive prescription drugs. Maybe they would be better off playing some games? Bush might want to play some strategy games for instance, to see what a bad idea it is to place your troops in the middle of enemy territory!

I feel silly playing this, living in NY. I don't want to see a pathetic CGI simulation of my own house! These Activision *****s went around and photographed our houses for the textures? Next time I see any of these Activision people snooping around the neighborhood, I'm going to beat them with a baseball bat, steal their car and go for a free-roaming, dynamic joyride.

I guess I'm not as diplomatic as Mark Rein because I think the controller sucks. I think consoles sucks. We'd be better off as gamers if consoles no longer existed.

Except for the portable ones, that's a different story. Home consoles, those are just dumbed-down PCs with dumbed-down controls and I hate them for ruining quality PC gaming.
