Stretching it? I'd call it a torn ACL.

Curious indeed. I believe that Clancy wasn't going to open up for additional IP, so it would have to be: Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, or Splinter Cell...but the post-semi-apocalyptic tone of the site just doesn't work/fit or otherwise.

Maybe a convergent world? Multiple IP's in one game?

Actually this is a good thing. Perhaps we'll see more mods with actual dedicated staff who can look forward to perhaps more than just a couple minutes in the lime light.

There were a series of gameplay videos about a month back that didn't particularly appeal to me. The animation and the environment just seemed a bit too rigid/unlifelike.

We've finally moved beyond World War II shooters only to get an alternative future where we're *still* fighting Nazis, on American soil.

Edit: I thought someone already ran the scenarios on this one, are they planning on the German's having developed nukes? Because even if they had managed to get that heavy water plant up, they were way behind and on the wrong track. Or maybe in this one Einstein never left Germany....argh alternate history is full of holes

Demo was very un-fun, and I have a pretty open mind when it comes to adventure games.

So have they secured a publisher now?

Not sure how much now. Supposedly the campaign was rather challenging.

Because the Unreal Engine was built around supporting that. Not everyone has the resources to have a game engine tailored to that degree.

Why the PC version is so much worse (from what I hear) than the Xbox 360 version?

The stage 1, 2, 3 aspects were scrapped as part of mainstreaming the game.

I remember talking to a friend on the phone a day after I got Oblivion, and I remember him telling me that he'd pay $5 for 5 hours of gameplay. You know, if the Orrery is 2 hours of gameplay, I'll dish out.

I think that the only people that complain about StarForce are pirates.

I hope to god you're being sarcastic.

Of course you are. Because Sin is something relatively new, and Half Life 2 is relatively 'done'.
