Ok got it working (stupid cool'n quiet).

Anyhoo, I kind of like the gameplay, it's very choppy even with a64 3400+, x800xt and 1gb ram, but so far it seems fun and while it's nothing really new it has "it", think this game might get fun =)

yeah well this demo sucks... says I need a 1.3GHz CPU to play it, but I have a 2.4GHz CPU.

Screw you 2015, now I have to search through x boards to find a fix.

Anyhoo, Highlander game? Eww. Won't that be king of like King of the hill or something? "Kill your opponents until you are the only one left!"

Fantastic multiplayer, up to 64 players.
Realistic environment.
Play from the 1700s up until 2004.
Hypersmart AI, they will dodge attacks and ambush you!
Over 20 weapons!!

The pain... please.. don't make a game! =)

Well I just love this physics demo "game", I guess that's the closest we'll get to DNF for the time being.

As far as the game being delayed, so what? It's not like we had the game and they took it back...

"What I don't have, I don't care about" is my philosophy when it comes to games, you'll never know what the developers decide to do, so it's better just to close your eyes and wait.

When will animators learn that when you are firing a rifle you need to hold it up against the shoulder, not like Rambo did. About 1.20 min into the video you'll see what I mean, apart from that it's kind of cool with the "SUPERAWESOME KUNG FU!" stuff they've put into MxO.

This movie has to be R, I don't care if they have teletubbies in it, as long as the rating is R it will do fine.

The cast for the marine was really good I think, Karl has the looks to pull this off and it's not really that much of a challenge for any actor to just shoot a weapon for two hours.

As far as storywise I think this movie has to start without giving the viewers any idea of what's going on, but have the people he meet and stuff he sees at camera, hear over the radio and stuff like that tell the story. Like in the game, but more in a way so it will suit the movie.

Making this movie will be a minefield, they can't have bullettime in it, they can't have techno music, slow motion scenes. They can't have gangsta black guy doing the funny one liners, they can't have a sexy lady with big boobs playing the "I hate you marine - oh it's the ending lets make out".

The movie obviously has to have tons of CG, but it would be really cool having most of the monsters "real" as in puppets or whatever, it gives the movie a better feel to it, with CG you "know" it's not real so it kind of ruins the immersion if it's just too much, which in a movie like this can get really annoying.

If Rock gets a role in this movie I hope he is a hardcore soldier/Sarge with no "prettyboy with muscles" look.

They used semi-FPS view in the movie ALI, and it was VERY good. Really depends how well they make it, "camera on the shoulder" or "camera glasses" sort of thing, and if they add some blur and fast movement it might be cool.

Anyhoo, my favorite for the main marine would be Jet Li, have him walk around with l33t kung fu, poor english, slow motion and not using weapons. /end sarcasm.

I don't think the DNF developers actually know what they are doing..

-What kind of rendering engine are you using for DNF?
"Well... it's Doom3 like, but not really if you know what I mean. I think we actually made our own, but I'm not sure."

Well after testing this game for a while I can say it's utter crap. I loved neocron in beta and a month or so into retail, but then the developers got the idea to introduce more features which, well, sucked. And what happened? They lost a ton of players, and with this they'll probably gain 10-50 players but I doubt it'll do anything. Same shit, same wrapping. The character models looks like something made on nickeloden or whatever it's called.

Stay clear of this if you already stopped playing Neocron, and if you're interested, well don't expect it to be mindblowing.

If they have levels in this game it will fail, they better base the whole system on skill-levels (like UO, where you get better as you use an iteam) instead of the "kill monster, get xp" system.

Downloading the beta client now, really looking forward to trying this game again. Used to play in neocron1 beta and a few months into retail, but then it got messed up so bad from what it has been before. Hope neocron2 can be a little bit more fun and maybe give me the whole neocron joy again =)

I just added an ATI Silencer 4 on my X800Pro Vivo and I used a paper which I folded so it would be a little more rigid. I must say it worked great, the idle temp isn't that much cooler, but the max temp is 10-11 degrees cooler even when I overclock it by a bunch.

I'd also like to add that the Artic Silver 5 doesn't do it's best work from the start, it takes a while before it really does what it's supposed to.

Oh and btw, who wants to save thermal compund? It's like 5 bucks for one and if you manage to use an entire tube for a CPU and/or graphics card, you have other problems than "wrong technique".

Wow, that's 100MB per minute of playtime!

That was the shortest demo EVER. It was good and all, nice use of effects, but ffs 534MB for THAT? Shame on you whoever made this, complete waste of bandwidth for so little!

Awards are not what they used to be... 130 awards have CoD gotten, is it just me or is that just a lot for a game?
