Isn't it time they come up with other stories now? They have been using these crazy Tom Clancy-stories for so long now, it can't be that hard making new stories up can it?

At this point I don't really care what the story will be, lets say you're a teacher at a school that find some weapons, and then decide you want to shoot at the authorities, that could work... right? As a teacher you're probably well educated in all types of military hardware, and will be a super soldier.

Why the hell do they need to do an European beta? All Euro COH players are already playing on US servers anyways.

I think it's just an excuse to get more "free" PR from all websites, lag and such isn't an issue on the servers now anyways. I played a few weeks after it went in retail, and even though I'm from the land of the midnight sun, the game ran smooth. And timedifference? Come on, most MMORPG players never sleep anyways, so time isn't an issue.

I checked out those 25 new videos, and I must say The Punisher looks very cool. Tons and tons of cool violence, which for me is cool, but the press will probably be all over it and try to get it banned.

My favorite "move" must be the one where The Punisher throws his M16 to a guy, the guy catches it with both hands and The Punisher takes his knife and stabs him in the eye. Priceless.

Another game that would be perfect for the movies would be Legacy of Kain, if they could pull off all those insane locations and special effects. And of course, they would have to use the same voices.

Anyhoo, I think this Doom movie will have PG-13 rating, but of course it will show lots of gore, but no swearing - because that is so very bad!!.

heh, that's the american rating system for ya.

Ending in FPS sounds VERY cool, hope they pull it off by not doing like that House of the dead movie where they put stuff from the video game in, it looked horrible and didn't fit in.

I'm looking forward to the main character, he seems like a cool guy and really fits the whole being a marine. What might be a problem is the other actors, that will be filling the positions for the other marines. I'm pretty sure they will have the black guy who is very funny, then the nervous guy, then the hardcore guy that is so extremely tough. Aliens have these people too, Predator had them and basically any other movie with a group of actors.

That the BFG isn't being called "Big Fucking Gun" I suspect have to do with the movie being rated PG-13 or so.

That the zombies or whatever will be a virus is somewhat annoying, in the games it's from hell or some weird dimension, but it's for sure not a virus.

Just imagine what the soldiers can do now. "Everyone" will enlist, go somewhere and get shot, then spend much time at the hospital just playing Xbox. I'm guessing we'll see an increase of "injuries", especially around big releases like Halo2 and such.

Been playing it for a little bit. DM is chaotic and messy, but it's fun. I'm looking forward to seeing TDM servers pop up though, more fun =)

Throwing a toilet at someone and killing them with it is hilarious, but after a while the map gets really really messy because people have been throwing stuff infront of doors, hallways and stuff like that.

Does this mean TF2 will be delayed? Is Gabe running around the office pulling plugs out and yelling "WE WON!", then only to realize there was no point pulling out all the plugs, but because he already did that, they have to delay the game for about a year so all the plugs are put back correctly. And yes, they do it slowly.

Your damn, fucking right I'm smart. In High School I took an IQ test which I scored 165 on. The proctor felt that that wasn't an accurate assesment however because I had scored in the 99.9th percentile. In order to figure out where I truly fell on the IQ scale he would've had to order a more advanced test which we never did. His feeling however was that my actual IQ was well above 165.

How nice... We all know how much IQ actually tells about how smart someone is. It's kind of like a sprinter who's competing the olympics, he'll be damn good. While someone who's never doing it will suck.. What's my point you say? IQ is something anyone can be taught. How special do you feel now?

The demo of this game was really cool, then when I got the full game the multiplaying mode was basically like this: "Buy tons of shield generators, then tons of artillerty, bomb one spot a lot" Where is the fun in that?

addressing performance issues and other glitches in Troika's Source-engine Vampire RPG. No release schedule for the patch is projected at this time.

I'm pretty sure it will take a very long time, to fix all the stuff that's wrong with this game. But at least they're not pulling a valve. (Will be done no later than tomorrow).

I hope the surprise is multiplayer, TF2, CS2 and all these things. But a suprise for the community can mean stuff like "YOU WIN A FREE DESKTOP PICTURE!" - or something else that really doesn't mean anything.

What I don't want to hear is something like "We're planning on releasing TF2 for source." and that's it, nothing more. I want something playable, not just info =)

Good stuff by Valve, just too bad it didn't happen earlier. I think Steam is great for how easy it is, updating itself and all that crap.

Hope they ban all these people forever from ALL steam shit.

An acquaintance of mine has already played this game, according to this person it's buggy, laggy on high end system (A64 3400, X800XT), graphics is really bad considering it's using Source, gameplay is boring and just in general it was a let down.

Too bad, because the first one was cool.

"We hope you enjoy it!" What kind of bullshit is that? They have to say "Enjoy or die!".

Anyhoo, been playing for about 6 hours or so, the game is just what I wanted. (That's a good thing).

HL2 does indeed have "it", been a long time since any other game has been this good. I'm enjoying every second of it, lots of challenges, fun puzzles and best of all, it's running smooth as hell at 1280*1024 with all the AA and AF on max.

Valve 10000000000 - Whoever bashed it 0.

Great article, I can understand how Valve didn't want to admit that they had screwed up on the date, and probably worked as hard as they could, but slowly realized it was impossible.

To all you who keep flaming Valve, let it go. There is a reason why YOU are not working on the game, lets see who's laughing when Valve makes 700 million from HL2... Flame that!

Great news. Don't think it'll suffer, the people who knows about Vampire games will get this one, and I'm sure there were a lot of people getting the previous game (or else there wouldn't have been made a sequel). It'll also attract more people because it's using HL2's engine, free PR and all =)

Think that backup feature kicks ass, no other game has that if I'm not mistaking. Shows that valve do listen to the community too =)

SEVEN MORE DAYS!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry about the use of !s, I'm overly excited about this game coming out in jUST SEVEN DAYS!!!)
