Why does Konami patching the game for ATI Radeon gives some people an excuse to bash ATI? It just doesn't make sense.
First of all, they did patch it so it runs on ATI. It is not ATI's fault. And now ATI owners can play the same games as you NVIDIA users but with better performance. As to why it needs patch to support ATI cards, as someone before me has mentioned, it is probably the game was designed with NVIDIA in mind since it is the majority. But now ATI has proven to be a successful card and has significant userbase, so Konami releases the patch.
Remember back in the days when Quake was released. Heck, you needed to download a "patch" to run it on Voodoo (GLQuake)! I guess you would be bashing Voodoo too and say you would stick with your whatever 2D card you had at that time and how dumb would that be.
By the way, I don't have an ATI card. I use a TNT2 that my brother gave me when he bought 9700pro.
