We can't get Mountain Dew here in Europe...I love the stuff, one of the best things about holidaying in America! That, and the weather.

OTOH, it was Queen played loud, live, which was great - close your eyes and imagine you're at a concert. But the "show" part sucked.

I was actually a bit disappointed with the music. I was looking forward to seeing someone actually playing the lead guitar live on stage - as a guitarist who can't even approach that kind of level (and being too young to appreciate Queen properly first time round) I'd have loved to have seen it.
But even worse, most of the guitar solos weren't even in the show. I guess it would have left the actors with nothing to do...but let's face, the show was about the music. The story was terrible

I like the changes to the main news bit. My gripes are as follows:

- As people have said before, the top bit of the page before the news headlines is a bit excessive. I'd at least like to be able to see the latest headline. There's also a big empty bit on the right hand side.

- This may be more of a feature than a bug, but, on Opera at least, the ad between each days news has scroll bars and doesn't display everything. As I say, could be mercifully designed that way.

- Finally, and very nitpickingly, I don't like the OOTB links being bigger than the opening monologue (is there a proper word for that bit?) Just looks a bit untidy to me, but I'm a fastidious bugger.

I actually like the colour scheme, at the top of the screen anyway which is odd because I always use retro colours in 'normal' blues.

Computers are speeding the demise of a uniquely American form of expression

Eh? I always thought we wrote in cursive over here in Britain and most of the rest of the world as well. Is there something different to it?

So I think I got it all removed, but I can not remove the stupid comcat spinning logo in internet explorer (where it shows activity)...any body know how?!

There's a registry key you can edit but I'm buggered if I can remember what it is. Google should know.

If you upgrade your child with 25 bonus IQ points, you can count on a 50-point boost becoming available by the time your children have kids of their own. You've just made Junior obsolete.

Thought that article was going to be just another neo-Luddite piece of technophobe crap - but it's actually scary (and well-thought) stuff.
Also - on the thread below - I use cd cracks just because I'm too lazy to swap CDs every time I want to play a different game.

Agreed. Videos can show you what a game looks like but as we all know, it isn't just all about eye candy. Seems very unusual for such an anticipated game as Unreal II, with a dev team one would hope knows a thing or two about the gaming community, not to release a demo.
