Yeah, unfortunately the patch does not fix the incredibly shitty driving control, nor does it fix the incredibly retarded mission designs.

But my 5.1 sound works at least. Flush

The driving is the same as Saints Row. Its not very realistic but I didnt have much a prob with it. Missions are kinda lame, but the destruction in the game is fun... for about 3 hours.

My first thought on hearing of her passing was "Guess we're not going to see her in Playboy. Bummer."

LOL.

While I didn't care for her work, it's certainly surprising when someone dies that young.

I find it a little odd when the husband doesn't want an autopsy done.

Alright, more proof to my nerdity. There was a gal in the 501st (SW costuming group, theres the nerdism) who died at 32 or 33 from a cardiac arrest. Ive seen this before at least once. =\

I had a crush on Brittany Murphy since I saw her on Clueless. Yes... I watched Clueless as a child. Who wouldnt want to see all those superficial hotties running around being stupid?

I was shocked to see that news yesterday. Condolences to her family. R.I.P. Brittany =(

OK I had to create an account after reading the news almost daily on this website for the last year or so.

I am just amazed at how people can write articles that they know are complete and utter B.S.

This author quotes a story about how Firefox has the most vulnerabilities, yet acknowledges the fact that the real problem is when people install random 3rd party addons.

Isn't this the same exact thing happening to the I-Phone and it's applications, or the same thing that people have lambasted Microsoft for with Windows and installing random programs from untrusted companies that in the end only end up causing major headaches.

Firefox is the safest browser in my opinion, and I am only running Ad-Block, IE Tab, and No-Script and I feel like that combination gives me a sense of being almost bulletproof while surfing the web.

Anyways I love this site and thanks to Blue for all the hard work!

I dunno. I was about to post saying ive never had problems with firefox and never get jammed with trojans or spyware or malware unless its come from some crapware. Rule of thumb, stay of the porn sites, watch out for warez, and be mindful of any software titled as free. hehe

Im curious as well. I was excited for Cities XL, but I waited to see reviews and player feedback and a shame that went down hill.

Some screenshots and a trailer came in after the announcement, which should help with your curiosity.

/me looks.

Anyway, if this is a good shooter then of course I will bite, but WOW, talk about a rip-off of CoD. I would have rather seen Vietnam or something else unique, but I guess this will have to do.

You do realize that most of the folks who worked at 2015 on MoH Allied Assault are the same people who ended up forming IW to make CoD right?

18. Re: Direct2Drive Refutes Impulse Claim Dec 1, 2009, 02:31 Wolfen

Ive used Steam, Impulse and D2D. Ive used D2D less over the years since steam arrived though. Impulse I merely use for any CD games ive bought that require it and object desktop. I havnt really had much trouble with any of them. I figure none of us really give a crud who is number 1 or 2 or 3. In the end its about what we as individuals just like more. So I find this argument over this fairly.. useless.

Having a rogue as a main character might be a pain in the ass

Hehe. Actually Im running a rogue now. Ive set him to duel weapons, duelist and im working on assassin right now. As a duel wielder he is a whole lot of fun and I actually found him easier to play then the warrior. The others are tanking. Also id suggest turning Wynne into a arcane warrior. Pump her healing and buffs up then go arcane and shes now close to a cleric. Lot of fun. =D

People say this but they don't back it up. In reality all you have working is some health potion and an attack skill, approximating BAD AI from a normal game. Some achievement. Unless you do more with it and can show it off.

Well for one I never said anything about AI or that the tactics system was a achievement.

I merely stated using the tactics system does wonders. Which it does. I have guys healing them selves and each other, attacking those who attack specific members, enemies being attacked by type, rank, so on. All kinds of options, and I use the crap out of them and it works fine. The game was much harder until I started using it.

Achievement or not. Bad AI or not. It helps, and it works fine for me.
