I adore this demo! It's packin' the most perfect damage model I've ever seen! The graphics are gorgeous and I get a steady 50FPS on my killeRig.
The AI is superb, and it has the most fluid animations I've ever seen!!!!
It's better than SWAT3, and beats the hell outta the other R6 games because you can load preprogrammed mission plans rather than making your own for 2 hours.
And with its custom mission generator, it has more replay value than Splinter Cell, which I also loved.

WTF are you talking about? Nvidia's always had superb driver support. ATI is the one that provides a shit sandwich (9700) and makes you eat it because it boasts 200FPS in most games, which is total vanilla since your eyes can't tell what the framerate is if it's above 60.

I wonder what the hell people are smoking when they say the gameplay is "only average" and nothing new. That should be said of SOF2, a disappointment for me -- it was just run & gun!

Unreal 2 has a variety of mission objectives (rescue, defend, etc., not always just "Kill enemies and find the switch." THAT'S "average" gameplay.), varied environments, original weapons, and of course, delicious graphics.

I also wonder what the hell people are smoking when they say Unreal 2 is too short--all shooters are too short! Deus Ex is the only shooter (and it's not really a pure shooter, either) that I DIDN'T beat in only two sittings.

How the hell do you use the heartbeat sensor in the R6 games anyway? I'll have it equipped and click the mouse or hit the use key, but it never does anything, even when enemies are near!

I think nvidia was right when they said 3D Mark 03 favored ATI cards!
I have an AMD 2100+, 512MB DDR RAM, Geforce4 Ti 4600, and I got 1629, which, when I did the online result browser, was a higher score than any system with identical specs to mine.
Yet people have claims of 5000 points! I find it hard to believe, unless they have behemoths of machines (and even mine's a killeRig).

I absolutely adored the first IGI, although it had no savegame and was stupidly hard. The AI in the first game was great, too.
In IGI2...it seems to be worse! It doesn't look any better...the AI doesn't seem to have improved, and the blood looks much worse!
And I can't stand that accuracy model. Sure, if you're running, and hip-firing a gun, and shooting on automatic, of course you won't hit what you're aiming at. But if you know what you're doing, you can move and fire in bursts and still hit far targets accurately. My father and I are both able to do this...so frankly, this Jones guy must not be much of an agent.

I have an AMD 2100+, 512MB DDR RAM, and a 128MB Geforce4 Ti4600. I'm on the 41.03 drivers, as they're the highest drivers that I can use that will still let me play DVDs on my PC. (For some reason, with any drivers above 41.03, when I try to play a DVD under InterActual or PowerDVD, it will say "The TV out port is not working properly.")

Well, with Splinter Cell, some shadows (like those on Blaustein and Madison's bodies) look buggy and blurry, and sometimes I can see lights through walls and doors.
