Loved Hearthstone for the first couple of years until it became more and more pay-to-play.

It's true that their Windows client was affected, but it's misleading to title this issue a "worldwide Windows outage".

I've been an early adopter of every Windows version since 2.0 - except Windows ME and Windows 11. W11 removed very useful Start menu features and replaced it with a Fisher-Price dumbed-down smartphone menu, complete with extra advertising. No thanks.

Not sure about your Ensure and Depends, but your memory is definitely failing... 520ST, not "512ST".

No Start menu icon groups or folders. For those of us with a multi-use PC (in my case it's schematic design and printed circuit board layout, video and audio production, photography, gaming), removing those Start menu organizational features would have a real impact.
Windows 10 doesn't force people to use those organizing methods - it's idiocy to remove them as a choice.

I've installed every version of Windows (from 2.0 to 10) on or before release day with the exception of Windows Me... but Windows 11 will also be a pass until they restore removed features that are very important to my workflow...

Win 11 doesn't currently appear to have anything analogous to Win 10's Start Menu tile groups.
I don't use live tiles, but I do use Win 10's tile groups extensively. My PC "wears a lot of hats" since it's used for work (electronic schematic / PCB CAD, FPGA firmware, utilities), photography, music recording, and gaming. All the program shortcuts for the above are nicely grouped tiles in the Start Menu.
