The first one was fun at first, then got kind of boring. A real struggle to finish. The real mark of does a game deserve a sequel should be how many people are still playing the original a year later. Anyone? How about using the overly complicated Siege toolkit to build mods, anyone? Maybe just some die hard fans. I'll pass on this one.

I had a machine a few years ago that crashed with my GeForce card all the time. Check your IRQs, for some reasom mine was sharing the same IRQ for like four device. Once I resolved this problem, no more crashing. Ever.

As much as I love the X-Box version of Halo, you are right on about everything you said, excpet it looking obsolete. The graphics on the X-Box version use a heavily modified Unreal Warfare engine and they still loks great. Not HL2 or Dooom 3 great, but still pretty damn good.

This press release sure is drawing quite the buzz. The link reveals nothing about the game itself, just coming soon. So what can we surmise about this one just from it's title?

2. Reich - which is German for "pasta"
So, The Pasta 2005. So the game is obviously a budget priced title concerning pasta. While it sounds interesting, I have som hesitation. for example will it have Co-Op play? Will it be as feature rich as the X-Box title? And finally will a level editor and Mod support be included.
I guess we can only wait and see!

I mean WTF? That was the best part of the X-Box version. I've had friends beg to come over just to play Co-Op.
On the other hand, they make a good argument for not adding levels, plus the editing tools should make this one a winner.

Is this a true statistic? Because if it is developers should be more carefull, doing some market research before the launch into a mulit-million dollar project. While it may not be easy to spot a clear winner, it's failry easy to spot a clear loser.

Halo on the X-Box is great. I'm a big PC gamer, love FPS and this is my only X-Box title. I've played it trough five times and can't wait for the PC version. HALO still looks better then most of games being released right now except for the big two coming out the fall. There is still a lot of life left in this one, good AI, great multi-player Co-Op fun. Vehicles that rock.
Bungie got just about all of it right. The PC version hopefully will ship with the level editors. Dude, you've got no clue.
