Tim Cook confirms- tech met with Trump to ask for billions in tax breaks.

Yes because those tech giants are on the edge of profitability.

My father in-law believes those tax breaks savings will be given to workers as a pay raise. Ah yep...

If you hold to the idea that the Executive Board are "workers", then yes. Yes, it will.

Stronger social safety net, sure. But who's going to pay for that? The rest of the working class?

The "Villain Most In Need Of A Hug" Award

Gabe Newell, for not greenlighting Half Life 3?

We'll get you anyway, Valve. No matter how many categories you discard.

Space Hulk looks pretty cool (if too dark), sad to read that it has so many issues, and that the campaign is apparently very short.

"Game developer"

Well I guess if we're being technical. I'm also an author because I'm writing this post. I'm a porn star because my ex and I made a video one time. I'm an astronaut because I have a thousand hours in Kerbal Space Program.

Duuuuude show me how to properly get into orbit without making Kerbal flambe!

If you're serious about needing help, this is the man you want.

Watch a few of his tutorial videos and boom, you'll be landing manned expeditions on the moon in no time.

36 complaints per 100,000 customers. Lol. I think Comcast would be ecstatic to have 36 satisfied customers per 100,000.

Some suit at EA probably had a fucking heart attack when he saw the "free game" thing, and quickly made them kill the whole idea.

"How about we give away five 3 dollar Krogan plushies instead?"

Yeah that level was just bullshit. The way it's played here is basically the only way to play it. If you run out, you're dead.

There likely is nothing I want, but eh, I can always have a quick glance. It's nice that you can make a wishlist and see the sale prices for all those titles in a single glance.

It never made sense that they opened so many studios when they had sold exactly two games in like six years.

Still sucks for all those poor guys losing their jobs though.

Take a bow.

You're one of the good ones. The smart ones.

Oh oh oh!!!! *bows*

That said, I still WANT SC to be awesome, I just have no faith that it ever will be. That 10 minute video was about eight minutes of utter boredom.

I practically pissed myself when I saw the OH KRIEGER-SAN comment.

Also, Japan...? This is why people think you're all fucked up. Not so much because of the product, but because of the god-awful commercial you made for it.

Some of the connection and networking problems that players have experienced and perceived as consequences of that architecture are rather linked to the fact that we’re still in development.

Once the game is released, this blurb will be changed to

Some of the connection and networking problems that players have experienced and perceived as consequences of that architecture are rather all in their imagination.

Ubisoft would apparently rather die than make dedicated servers.

Wow, very interesting, Poland. CD Projekt RED will no doubt make something awesome eventually, and I find it really nice that the government supports their homegrown tech companies, even for video games.

I am in the internal testing group for another game company based out of Poland and they have awesome support from their government. Poland is definitely one of the friendlier countries to develop games in after CD Projekt RED put them on the map.

Good to hear. I hope they will be around for many, many more years to come!
