he walked around GDC with a shirt teasing BioWare's new IP and no one noticed

Well, maybe because

A) the last time you guys introduced a new IP, you wound up canceling it about eight months later
and
B) the last time you had a new IP before that was like 12 years ago.

Not really the kind of thing people are looking for from Bioware anymore, ya know?

I am aware that ad issues are driving some into the arms of ad blockers, and when malware enters the picture that is a sensible way to protect yourself. We never have worked out a subscription system here, so one thing that some have proposed that may be worthy of consideration would be to start a Patreon account to allow readers who are using adblockers a way to support the site if they want to.

How much are you getting off the Amazon links, Blue? Is it any kind of decent scratch, or did my $500 PS4 plus games purchase get you like 5 cents? (edit, sorry, nin already asked that.)

I will keep buying all my Amazon stuff through your link, but if you want to go the Patreon route, that's certainly understandable.

Fuck me, not this "The healing power of poop / piss" bullshit again.

A friend of mine got told by her doctor a year ago to "start drinking a cup of your own urine each day."

IT'S EXCREMENT.

Gaming bean counter NewZoo forecasts the market at $91.5 billion last year alone

But itís publishers whoíre haemorrhaging revenue because gamers who ad-block are killing the thing they love.

Cry me a fucking river and then die in a fire, clickbait piece of shit.

Is it free? No? Cause I'm still waiting for the rest of my $60 adventure, and I got something that felt about $0.99 worth. Nice world. Where was the game again?

That's strange, I felt exactly the opposite. Nice game, where's the cool game world to play it in? (Rather than this massively empty ball of copy pasta'd grass, rocks and identical towns.)

22. Malware Mar 16, 2016, 18:19 Creston

Hey Blue,

I'm getting hit with a massive Google notification about malware coming from www.imressionstracker.com which I guess is something that's popping up from an ad.

It hits basically within seconds of accessing the main page, and it goes away if I turn on Adblock...

I don't want to have you an adblock, so can you please check into it?

Thanks

(Edit: RedEye and Beamer both reported this already. Definitely seems like a bad, bad ad! )

I bought mine because my BluRay player had died and I needed a new one, and it was a case of $100 for a BR player, or $175 for an Xbone. That was a fairly easy decision to make. I've enjoyed playing Forza Horizon 2 and Sunset Overdrive on it, but other than that there's really nothing I want to play on it.

4. AdBlock Mar 13, 2016, 14:43 Creston

That is bullshit, worthy cause or not.

1) People install your product so they can avoid seeing ads. Not so they can avoid seeing ads except for shit you deem worthy.

2) Even lousier than the usual ad business is the business of blocking the usual ads and THEN REPLACING THEM WITH YOUR OWN. That's seriously the scummiest of bullshit moves.

So congrats, Adblock. You just got replaced.

VW should LONG since have just offered every VW owner a comparable 2016 vehicle and taken all their old cheaty boxes off the road. Total cost would have been about 5-8 billion dollars, sure, but that's not really that huge a pill for VW.

The damage they're doing to their brand by trying to come up with shitty fixes that do nothing is far, far more than a billion bucks. And every month that goes by where they've done jack shit is another month where the EPA starts leaning more to the 45 billion dollars in penalties scale rather than the other side.
