Bit of a difference there, 330 bucks or 45000.

Crap, I totally forgot this was coming out tomorrow... I really enjoyed Dishonored 2, so I'm tempted, but on the flipside, I just got started with Tyranny... SO MANY CHOICES

I don't like any pharmaceutical executives, mostly because I believe that big pharma is just a legalized crime syndicate, and I'm not a fan of Hillary Clinton either, but if we have devolved to the point where plucking a hair can be construed as "assault", then we have clearly steered down the path towards becoming mindless cattle, much like judge Matsumoto, who has obviously already achieved that status.

I think had he said that he was going to pluck hair from Hillary Clinton's head, he probably would have had a little "ahem" from the Secret Service and that would have been it, but he stated he would pay $5000 for a hair off her head, at which point it becomes solicitation to assault.

In any case, fuck this guy.

In related news, Shkreli narrowly retakes the lead from Ajit Pai as the most punchable man in America. Ajit, your move.

Stop stealing other people's comments, or at least credit other people for them.

Hate him or not, he's actually right on his PS4/PC thing. I swear most PC gamers spend as much time bitching about games as playing them.

Yes, and the PS4 forum are a happy haven of heavenly delight, where everyone waxes poetic about the amazing games they're playing and how much fun they're having?

Also, for all that he claims that "PS4 is fine.", the article itself states, like two paragraphs later: One of the big issues with low player figures is long matchmaking times. Here in Australia, GameSpot has not been able to find a match on PS4 at all over the past two weeks after multiple attempts. We stopped trying the last time after 45+ minutes of matchmaking.

Now, it's Australia, so maybe he means it's fine in the US, but it sure doesn't seem fine.

Also, three random quotes:

"I didn't want to do the exact same stuff everybody else did. The funny thing was, making a character-based, class based shooter

I didn't want to do the same stuff everybody else did, so I made a character-based, class-based shooter, and released it right around the time of Destiny 2.

That's one of the things that I consider my strengths: I am willing to admit when I am wrong.

Haha, good one, Cliff. Oh wait, you were serious? AAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.

"The problem with what we were trying to pull off with this company and this title was shipping a quality product with a team of 65 people without ruining everybody's marriages,"

Okay, you know what? That's awesome. I bow to you, sir.

Yeah, let's just not even worry. Who cares if a bad line of code slams a self-driving car into a bus and kills 30 people? It's not going to bother Trump, he's safe in the White House Mar-A-Lago.

Kidding about Trump aside, the thought of 100000 test cars driving around with no regulation to prohibit anything is fucking terrifying.

Won't happen anyway, since these US companies might wanna sell their cars not just in the USA And so the cars would always be regulated, by the EU, by Canada etc.

That's not where they're testing, though. They're testing HERE in the US. I mean, even the Germans are testing their self-driving cars here.

PewDiePie is a racist piece of shit. End of story.

We can all stop paying attention to him now. It won't make a shit's worth of difference to him, because he'll still be the #1 thing on Youtube and make millions and millions of dollars.

At this rate, appointment television will basically be dead in ten years. Sure, there will still be people watching TV, there always will be, but not enough to keep the entire system afloat.

Do I have to restart the main campaign for this? I've lost the saves and have to reinstall.

I didn't like how they implemented Enemy Within which is why I'm asking.

Yes, it's a new campaign. In fact, though it installs as DLC, you start it up as a separate game from the launcher. It won't even see your old saves. (Or your character pool, unless you export/import or just move the file yourself.)

Even so, it's very, very much worth it. WotC is the best new XCOM yet. It's fantastic.

Yep. The sheeple are eating it up. If I was Apple, I would have called it the iPhone Xclusive, and charged it at 2 grand. The mongrels will buy it.

FaceID seems like a big fucking failure. The disastrous demo notwithstanding, they are actually making unlocking more annoying. You need the phone pointed at your face just so then you need to swipe up. That's assuming it works the first time, so far its failing quite a bit in press demos and the actual presentation by Apple themselves was a shitshow. Some people check their phone constantly throughout the day, they are going to get annoyed by this pretty quickly. To use Apple Pay or etc there are now 2 additional steps.

I get the idea behind it. Most people bring their phone up to a certain position in front of their face when they use it, so why not use that position to then also automatically unlock it?

The reality I found on my Galaxy S8 is that you have to be REALLY FREAKING PRECISE with the location of your phone on setup, and then again when trying to unlock it, for it to work. You can't set it up at 3 feet away from your face and then try to unlock it 2.5 feet away, because it won't work.

I finally have it set up now where it works reasonably consistently, but it was a huge (YUUUUUUUUUUUGE!) pain in the ass to get it there. And even so, anything less than optimal light conditions, and it doesn't work.

It's a gimmick for gimmicks' sake. It gives little to no functionality improvements.

Exactly, what's not to like.

If you got kids, you could do a lot worse for $5. The game is gorgeous, and captures that Star Wars atmosphere wonderfully, even if the gameplay isn't the greatest. And there are some single player modes if you just want to cruise around and blast stormtroopers.

Yeah for $5, it's probably worth it just to shoot some stormtroopers.
