Luke Cage was absolute garbage, tonally correct blacksploitation (sic?) notwithstanding.

I sure hope this is better.

No, a slut AND a whore. Pay attention.

Personally, whenever anyone asks "can you hear me?", I always answer no. If it's a reasonably intelligent human being, they're smart enough to figure it out. If they're an idiot, they get confused and hang up, thus saving me from having to talk to an idiot. If they're a Star trek computer, the paradox causes them to explode in a satisfying shower of sparks.

Hehehe

Apparently like 20+ GB and half the textures in this pack are literally the same textures that are already included in the game itself, but because Bethesda is apparently so goddamned LAZY, they couldn't be bothered to make a DLC that only offers the new stuff, they just make you download 20 Gig of shit that you already have?

Surprising how few of the Dems were this "YOU NEED TO ALL RISE UP AGAINST THIS!" when Congress was trying to ram SOPA through during Obama's presidency.

Fuck everyone in Washington.

Red Dead Redemption 2 online multiplayer to be major focus.

Not surprised (hell, expecting it), I just hope it doesn't compromise the story/SP.

Works fine with a non SSD hard drive and a 1070.

What is the resolution you are playing at, HElf?

1920x1080.

How are the load times? I imagine they've gotten pretty terrible?

not sure if this will be of help since I live in Europe, but I had a similar problem. satellite internet is crap, and has awful pings as well ( that pesky light speed barrier..), and noone is putting cable to an isolated house. In my case I found a rural wireless provider... , these are smallish companies that set repeater stations in the countryside and then an antenna on your roof pointing towards their antenna, it doesnt compare to fibre but you can get pretty decent internet that way IF it is available in your area. I googled " rural internet florida" & rural internet lake city and found a few promising hits... hope you find something decent there.

Yep, that's what I had for internet for 8 years. 756k down. POWERRRR!!! But it beat satellite.

As a result of this we have also had to remove the 25% Lifetime Discount offer from the Barbarian Edition.

So, out of curiosity, why exactly? Because this seems more like a "The game is very popular, so we decided to charge more because we like money!" deal.
From what I can gather, this is a discount for hiring a server from PingPerfect, not a discount on the game.

Ah, that makes more sense then.

DS9/Voyager reasons for no HD are the same case as Babylon 5... All the effects composites are all done at NTSC resolution. Unlike TOS and TNG, none of the shows probably warrant the amount of budget required to create HD versions, especially since DS9 and Voyager started using CG for ships and such, it would require a massive amount of work.

It disappoints me still today that I'll only ever have bad quality Babylon 5 DVDs. The quality will look great for some of the shots (the ones with no effects), then turn to grainy low res for the composite/effect shots. It's especially bothersome when its cutting back and forth between two closeups while people talk and one is perfect and the other is crap.

Yeah, it's sad. I wish someone at CBS (or at ... shit, whoever owns the Bab5 rights) would put up a kickstarter. I mean, I don't THINK they'd get enough money, but it'd sure be interesting to see them try.

I bought all 7 TNG series, but I'll admit I waited until they hit like 40-50 bucks. I understand the work involved really necessitated CBS charge 100+ for them on release, but at the same time, few people are going to shell out that much money for a, let's admit it, 30 year old TV show, even if it looks significantly better.

The first season was amazing. The work done on the VFX shots was incredible, the details were incredible, the color, etc. But then season 2, it looked like they were already saying "Well, let's do it a bit cheaper." Planets all of a sudden went back to their old shitty blurry self of the 80s, some shots barely got touched up, etc. By season six, I'd see entire episodes where it looked like "all" they did (with respect for the incredible amount of work that still entailed) was re-cut the negative into 1080p.

I'd buy the DS9 set, and for sure I'd buy a Bab5 blu-ray set, but I don't think it'll ever be. Sad.

PLEASE! I need your help, guys! You're my only hope!

Is there any place anywhere within ~ 2 miles of you that has broadband? If so, and if you can get a direct line of sight, you could set up two Ubiquiti transmitter/receivers (one at your place and one at the place that has broadband) and transmit the signal that way. Apparently those things get ~ 300Mbps connection speed between them, so they should have little trouble relaying the signal.

A guy I somewhat know here in OK does that, he actually rents a small little shack for ~ 150 a month somewhere where he can get Cox, then he transmits that signal from there to his home with a pair of those transmitters. It seems to work pretty well.

It's not cheap, but it's an option.

In case a passenger or you were injured I wonder if you would be liable for injuries since you are aware of the recall?

So far, US law has not held people lawfully responsible for not getting a recall done.

I mean, don't get me wrong, it SHOULD, but it doesn't.
