I had actually put it in secret text first, but then I was like "This game is like 900 years old. Fuck it."

Eh, I'll happily play it on the PS4.

Still a year away though

I have NO DESIRE to play as the son. He was a whiny bitch. I'd rather have a prequel when Marston joined the gang.

I doubt many people want to play as Jack, for precisely that reason. Also, RDR's narrator in the intro basically already says that "it was the end of the Wild West era", so there's probably not a lot of Wild West'in to do for Jack.

The only thing I ever do as Jack is hunt down that fucking asshole who has your dad killed. I never continue to play as him.

So which hardware will you break badly this time, Microsoft? I mean, webcams and Kindles are fairly important, but they are not ubiquitous. I suggest you go for keyboards with this one. Just break ALL keyboards.

I actually bought RDR for PS3, got to Mexico before I stopped playing, gamepad aiming is just too aggravating for me.

I'm ashamed to admit it but I played the entire game (and the amazing undead nightmare addon) with the autoaim at its highest setting.

Correct me if I'm wrong but hasn't R* claimed that the code for RDR was a horrid mess and that it would literally take years to fix it up enough just to port it to PC?

They did say it was a mess, but they also have released for Xbone, and Microsoft has been adamant that porting games over to Windows 10 is very simple with UWP tools.

Well, they released it for the Xbone - 360 emulator. Not quite the same with regards to porting to Win 10.

But I'm still very hopeful.

I don't understand this RDR fetish. It was an ok game but nothing like the Witcher for example. It was great at the time when it came out but since then there are plenty of much better open world games came out, and RDR isn't the greatest imho.

You shut your filthy mouth. YOU SHUT IT RIGHT NOW MISTER!!

why not Red Dead Redemption? WTF

I'm pretty sure it's coming. They're just building up tension for an HD remaster coming out in time for Xmas. It's going to sell millions of copies all over again.

While I like the idea of the cumulative patches (at least for the enterprise), getting hold of them currently is a GIANT pita.

charge $20 for a re-release."

At least they put in some new content, but I'm still not paying $20 for it.

Vestager on Monday also apologized for the Commission's cases against Google taking so long. "I am as sorry as you and everyone else that antitrust work is taking a lot of time," she said, according to Reuters.

"It's hard to get anything done when you're only in the office twelve days out of every year, and during those twelve days you go to lunch from 9.30am to 3.30 pm."

I like that they're trying to do new things in an FPS game, so kudos to them for that. No idea whether it'll work out or not, so far it seems just too quirky, but I respect the attempt to break out of the Gears of War mold.

But I can't for the life of me figure out why this is called Prey...

Is this basically a huge texture pack mod, or are there any actual game-play or tech changes beyond textures?

The only thing that changes is the renderer. So it's a bit more than just a texture pack, but there are no gameplay changes. (They likely did that so they wouldn't break the majority of the 40000+ mods out there...)

3DMark has always been really impressive too.
