I come from germany, so we had to deal with laws like this for a, well I can't remember ever not having to show ID for purchasing adult rated material.

So this law dosen't seem that controversial to me, of course if it's done for games, it should be done for all media.

Will that stop anyone from getting their hands on a game, movie or music they shouln't expose themselves too? No, but it might make a few people sleep better at night, and that's what it's all about isn't it?

The problem is, if they were ever to pass such a law with succes, then where would they stop? You know they'd need something else to keep voters happy after this.

And it is good!

When you shoot someone with an MG/BAR/MP44 they get destroyed, I Don't mean guts and pieces everywhere, but just the sheer power of the bullets, the blood and the body getting tossed around like the little nerdy kid with the glasses during break time, will leave you with a very satisfied feeling.

Rifle Grenades are nice too!

4 Maps? Sep 25, 2005, 22:09

So accodring to the DoD:Source preview from Gamecloud, DoD:Source will ship with only 4 maps?

I'm a bit disappointed, the player models still don't look as good as they should(going by what's visible on the screenshots) and only 4 maps sounds a bit slim. Though I'm sure the game will still be a lot of fun, and the Physics within the source engine should add a new twist or two as well.

We're coming down on EA because we love to play games. EA makes shitty games, and they are in a position now where they simply take any game or developer that shows some potential and turn them into more shit, leaving us little choice in games. Well, that's the worst case scenario.

That's why we hate EA.

I had to open certain ports on my router to get the download to work. It's all on the WoW Tech Support website.

The difference is. WoW may have have had a bad first few days, but it's pretty much fixed now. The servers are stable, I have yet to experience any major ammound of lag and the classes and content didn't turn out bad either.

EQ2 has been out for longer then WoW, most of the problems from day one still seem to be there, their servers are everything but stabil and well,... the classes aren't that impressing either.

Call me fanboy, call me whatever you want. But that's how it is.

Prepare for ASE to be full of spyware and all kinds of other crap you get with current Yahoo! products as soon as all this is done and finished.

What's wrong with a guy who has no purpose blowing shit up, splattering demon brains all over the walls and stomping bloddy holes into unsusectping imps?

Oh, you can't make it PG13. And I guess making a movie that dosen't sell as well as Star Wars wouldn't even be worth being looked at.

Fuckers.

I hate Spike TV, and I hate them even more for hosting this stupid award show. I wish for them to get very ill and die and for all their puppies to choke to death on a old milkbone.

Every now and then, games, or rather game design concepts come along that make me be ashamed to be a gamer.

I wouldn't have thought it a fluke if I hadn't read today's comments either.

However looking at the keyboard/printer, the imagine seems "odd" I can't describe what I mean exactly.

Considering it's Vivendi, and their track record on shipping "finished" games. I doubt it's good. But then, it's not like they are top notch producers to begin with.
