Must be that time again...

I remember just before the PS2 and the XBox launched people were predicting how PC gaming is a thing of the past. How consoles will take over and simply swallow whomever is still using a keyboard and mouse to play games.

Then, well, 10 years later I'm still sitting here playing PC Games while my XBox360 is collecting dust in the entertaiment center. I'm not too worried.

We don't need more innovation in the hardware sector right now. We need a reliable OS and games that last longer then 6 to 8 hours.

This press release confuses me. Are we talking about the same GoW here? Because the first one really didn't have any of the stuff mentioned.

Meanwhile, I'll be playing World in Conflict, I got all the Multiplayer settings I could ask for, and a good crowd of people to play with.

And the game is amazing.

Oh no, soon We'll have games like "The Need for Social, Command&Conquer: Myspace and The Battle for Middle-Facebook"... or something like that.

This is going to be great.

At least I know those social networking maniacs will never get me alive!

I'll download it later, I mean it's not like it costs me any money to try it.

I guess you can only remake Madden Games at EA for that long before you want to move on.

I wanted to love Crysis MP, and I did, for a little while. But the whole interface, server browser and execution of the multiplayer part left a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great single player game, but there are simply more polished offerings for online multiplayer out there. Even so, I still jump in from time to time, just not as much as I'd hoped I would.

I like Star Trek, and I don't mind MMO's but for some reason this game never had me very excited. It's just that in my opinion the whole Star Trek Universe seems hard to press into an MMO. They could focus on the space combat and make it kinda like WWIIonline where players fight for ... well I guess parts of space, but combining that with a crafting system etc. I don't know, just never works out in my head.

I wish I could come up with a more well written reply. But all I can think if right now is, "Fuck these guys".

I've heard it all before. All the great stuff you plan on doing with your shiny new MMO.

I don't have much hope.

PS: The Guild Wars comment was too funny.

If you're still bitching about StarForce, you should pick up a new hobby.
