Oh shut the hell up, Valve doesn't own you fucking anything, have you payed for the game yet? Do you really think it's in Valves best interrests to keep postponing untill "they just feel like releasing"? The Source engine is aging by the day, they have nothing to profit from this.
And 50 mods? What the fuck have you been smoking? Okay, perhaps 50 "mod-webpages", but how many of those would have turned out to something good anyway? Half-life 1 is what, 4 years old now? Name 50 good mods for this game. I can think of 3. Besides, they are working on making the transition as smooth as possible, so there's no reason not to start early. And you can do a lot of other things in preperation for the sdk release, like making models, writing the concept/story etc, which any serious developer would have done anyway.
I am really tierd of Valve pimping cs (and steam), but also of turds like you who keep flaming them for trying their best.
Halflife singleplayer was amazing when it came out, and I'm looking forward to the next installment, regardless of how many "buzz-words" it's engine incorporates, or how amazing they claim cs:source will be.
