So Warhammer 40K was a computergame? No? So Starcraft is not really a rip-off, maybe just inspired on Warhammer 40K. Get over it, be happy that they used it as a source of inspiration.

Everyone, are you sure?

There are also lots of people who still like to have a boxed copy of the game instead of a digital download. And in Europe lots op people don't have creditcards, so they aren't able to purchase the game digitally.

Tomb Raider 1 was released for PC and PS1 at the same time, so that's bullshit. It's a shame that some people (Usually PC Gamers) have such a feeling of superiority.

The Urban Chaos game is the new name for the game priorly known as Zero Tolerance / Roll Call. There was some conflict about the name Zero Tolerance, which is maybe why they decided to dig up Urban Chaos again. It has nothing to do with the Mucky Foot game really.

No i'm not joking. David Cage, the director of the game, said that on the GameFaq's Board. The ESBR requested them to remove the sex scenes in the game and even remove them from the DVD entirely. The thread got deleted though, because of unclear reasons.

After having seen the scenes, i'm not suprised. It's not that you see anything happening, it's just as in a PG13 rated movie - but this is a game and then it's a problem.

You might want to wait for confirmation by Atari or some US reviewer. I'm also not sure if Europe really gets it uncensored, because the game got delayed a week. But I think that has no relation.

Don't bitch about the name, everyone should play this game, it's brilliant. It's the 'Beyond Good & Evil' of 2005. Sadly the American version of the game will be censored, due to Hot Coffee. No sex in the game for the yankies, unless you import it from the EU ofcourse. We like sex over here.

From Wikipedia:

Paul Verhoeven's 1997 film Starship Troopers takes up the political themes by satirizing the book's attitudes mercilessly, using references from propaganda films such as Triumph of the Will and wartime news broadcasts. At its premiere in Chicago, Illinois, several viewers sarcastically referred to the film as "Head of the Class Goes to War."

It's more or less a parody of propaganda, the way it makes people believe they are fighting for the right thing. It's not the most subtle or brilliant satire or political message, but it sure is one. The book has a cleary different vision than Verhoeven had.

And before Iraq, there was Vietnam where America was messing with things which were none of their buisness - but I don't want to start a political discussion anyways. The point is that the Starship Troopers flic was more than just an action movie.

The Starship Troopers film is good (or decent at least) because it's more than just an action flic, it's also a political movie. It criticizes the American war policy, but not much viewers in the US seemed to get that, while for Europeans, it was pretty obvious.

It's no first person shooter at all, its an revolutionary type of adventure with a slight bit of action in it.

Sad that this site doesn't even know what the game is about, because it's one of the rare games to bring something fresh this year.

I believe Electronic Arts own the Dungeon Keeper rights now (after buying out Bullfrog in '95), so I don't think Molyneaux can do anything with that franchise anymore.

At Hot Summer Night Peter told that he loved to do another Dungeon Siege, but that it was up to EA to decide. So if EA wants so, I think Lionhead will be the one to make it. B&W 2 is published by EA, so I guess they've still got a good relationship.

What i've seen from B&W it looks incredible. It's to be seen how the gameplay turns out, but it looks like it's going to be what the first one should have been.

People who criticize Molyneux don't know how important he's been for the gamesindustry and how important it is that there are still people trying to do something new and origininal - which is harder to succeed in than making another clone.

This game will be the 'Beyond Good & Evil' of 2005 (from what I played now), hopefully these demo's will work convincing enough because the story and the consequences of choices on the story, are the major selling points of this game.

Why are you talking about Source and Valve here? The real thing going on is Renderware, which was being used with most VU Games until this deal. It seems that, after EA has acuired Criterion, Unreal is the number one middleware to go with. Source never was and never will be, a 'big' player. It's great, but I think it will be no bigger than Lithtech in it's best days.

Belgium is not in Eastern Europe (where Divine Divinity comes from) and Bet on Soldier is made in France (which isn't in Eastern Europe either).

But to say the least, these titles sound original and not like anything else, as opposed to many American games

Well, that might clear up what is meant with the new publisher in 'Epic is transitioning to a new publisher'. Just additional info, for free and all.
