Being cultural: internet is the perfect setting, customize it, get any tv, movie, music, program, game you want. Instantly. Price isn't the thing. Because it doesn't exist. Not yet. Organisations hasn't yet catch up with the freedom , speed and versatility built up online societys the internet has inspired us to create. And it is growing. Why would anyone wait a month to buy Artist X's new album when it's available in advance for free now? Why wait a week to view lettermans show last night, when it can be downloaded now? Illegal yes, but it IS a growing trend. Somehow, it doesn't stop people like me to buy games, and movies. Things i like and want to support.
I'm not saying downloading and using is morally right, but as long internet is free, and nobody is hurt by my actions as an individual, 1 and 0 is still just 1 and 0. duplicateable. It is really only I who can put a price on my downloads.
But if we look at the law, and upcoming laws, it would seem that individuals will suffer legally from riaa, mpaa's witchhunt. They want a few single people pay for the piracy effect that's been in motion and is really no single persons fault. (well maybe except Al Gore)
Now, if they wants to slow down illegal p2p sharing they are doing it wrong, threatening individuals. Their problem wont go away. This will only create more enemies. (worldwide alliances is already created, such as the pirate party, defence for p2p victims and even political support).
Sorry for my faulty english.
