Can we stop pretending Fox isn't "the mainstream media," and can we stop pretending that Trump doesn't frequently say "I heard" or "people are saying," with Fox then repeating ad nauseum?
99% of what Trump said about voter fraud was "people are saying that blah blah blah," which Fox absolutely ran with. Never proof, just "people are saying." That's objectively worse than an anonymous source.

It all seems so stupid. All they had to do was release the pc version, then ride the hype until the next gen version was ready. In the spring or the fall. Everyone on next gen would have bought one. It would have simply been remembered as a monster hit.

I think it annoys me more that console heads were thinking they would expect the game to run/look like it was being advertised. There was no way the game would have been advertised in an inferior way in any marketing/ad. So now they can cry false advertisement yet, what did they expect? Now on the other hand, if they're excepting the game looking like crud but it still runs like a$$, perhaps that's still an issue on CDPR. Like, if they have to make it really look horrendous just to get some performance improvements, then that is why the had to do. There is no way they could get the graphics anywhere close to next gen on the older hardware while still running smooth. It's really a no win situation to grab extra $$$ off people. Not a good look.
The issue isn't that it looks bad, it's that it crashes and is full of too many bugs.
Why do people here have so much distain for console owners that they keep saying "hey, deal with it, it isn't a big deal!"
No one said this when Arkham Knight got pulled on the PC

Here's something really crazy. The only truly honest review of the current state of the game is Worth A Buy, and his video is now being censored. It will not come up on a Google search. You have to go directly to his channel on youtube to watch it. He recently released a follow-up video about the situation. The Internet is really turning into a big pile of fake news. It favors fake over facts. Ugh
Here's Mack's (pc) review (which is actually quite funny, particularly the rating segment at the end. He does it that way to try not to butt-hurt the fanboys lol):
WaB Cyberpunk 2077 Review
Here's his follow-up vid:
WaB Cyberpunk 2077 Follow-up
So many people are firmly behind corporate censorship ("It's not censorship unless it's the government, man..."), never dreaming that their own opinions and speech will be the next to go. Like Robespierre to the guillotine, they are shocked that the monster they created has turned on them.
In fairness to Mack, I have no idea on his stance about social media and search engine censorship, and I'm not advocating he be censored. I just find it funny that some of his fans are all butthurt about his review being hidden (not directing this at you), but have no problem demanding that anyone else that doesn't agree with their opinions be memory-holed tout suite! As if anyone can be trusted to decide what is and isn't allowable...

So... they fixed none of the 2 game breaking bugs I stumbled upon in the prologue only, so far, plus the countless others I saw in youtube vids and the countless others that aren't on youtube.
Bugfest indeed. I doubt this game'll be polished before at least 6 months to 1 year from now.
STILL A FUN GAME tho, at least that's that. It's no Fallout76.

It is so weird to not have the bugs. I am used to buying a game and getting ALL the bugs. I have had nearly zero and no crashes. I slept weird on my bed and Jackie kept talking without actually moving for a little bit....other than that, smooth.
As for the gameplay, I love the story and the gunplay/combat. Using the samurai sword is REALLY fun. The hacking mini games are cool as well. You can really decimate a place without firing a shot. Reminds me a bit of the Arkham Batman games in that way. The driving sequences are pretty meh to me. I use the fast travel option whenever possible. I love the city and the atmosphere but not the handling of the car. If I could get in, pick my destination, and just have the car drive me that would be fantastic.

The video title, and quote used is hyperbole. The point of the video is actually the toxic nature of a large chunk of people within the "gaming" community and the fact that CDPR does some of the standard employee abuses like US AAA games companies do. The abuses at CDPR are well documented and if you choose to ignore them that's on you. I prefer my eyes being wide open before I choose to toss money at a game/company.
It's interesting how many people here jumped onboard to make stupid comments without knowing what they're talking about.
While I don't generally do videos myself as I also prefer just reading pieces this is how content creators make a living. Jim used to put up a fair chunk of content on his website, but has largely stopped because that's not what the majority of people want. One of the many unfortunate things we're losing these days.
