I usually use it to test the stability of my self-build system and to test what overclocking threshold I can reach before it becomes unstable.

Found the problem to the black screen stuff.
The damn drivers recognized that the TV was connected and outputted there. And of course my TV was off so I didn't see anything.

None of the points you mentioned are the cause. I not only uninstall older drivers, but also clean them up in safe mode with Driver Sweeper from Guru3D.
Drivers are just faulty, because many people are reporting the same problem.
