Not at all. I'm well aware of the governmental problems Japan and the UK both have. I'm pretty damn sure there isn't a goverment on Earth thats not corrupt. The only difference is the Uk and Japanese governments aren't so blatently transparent about it. England isn't ruled by a fucking puppet, one who isn't smart enough to count beans let alone run a country. Prime Minister Koizumi of Japan is ALSO an idiot, but not so much as Bush Jr. or the previous Prime Minister, Mori. I'm sick of paying taxes and then having those taxes constantly mis-spent on such fantasies as "National Security", hunting down the so called terrorist "threat" etc etc. I'm not some fucking idiot you know, I relize perfectly well that all governments have the same problems that the US does. The only difference is that the governments of other countries arn't in such a hurry to destroy their foundations as the republicans seem to be to destroy those of the US.

Indeed, and despite the fact that I've voted for all 22 years I've lived here, paid my taxes like any good little citizen, and attempted to make my neighborhood and city better by constantly speaking out about those obvious flaws which need to be corrected so the people can be more happy in their little suburban toilets they call a life, I STILL don't have the right to have my voice heard? Get off your high-horse. Being a CITIZEN of this country should be all the justification I need to have my voice heard. Paying my taxes only bolsters my position all the more. I pay this country via taxes to clean up society and make the overall nation a better palce to live, and INSTEAD, the money goes into politicians pockets, the national defense fund, and eliminating the "terrorist threat."

Its all Bullshit. THATS why I'm leaving, and THATS why I'm fed up with the nation.

But this is exactly what I'm complaining about. I've been living in the US for 22 years, and over the past decade the state of the country has increasingly gone downhill. I've voted at every election for the past 22 years, including the most recent event. all I'm saying is that I'm through. I'm not "taking my toys elsewhere." I've had my fill of the corruption of the goverment and ignorance of the majority of the population, and I'm tired of living with and amongst it. So, I'm leaving. I'll be gone before the next election anyway, so voting won't even become an issue. I've had great financial stability for the past 18 years, I've had "my way", and now I'm taking "my way" elsewhere, where my hard earned dollars won't go during tax time to continually pay corrupt politicians who would sooner use the people's tax money to pay off a whore than clean up the crime, feed the homeless, or fund the schools.

The problem, idiot, is that people who break into other people's houses don't GET the death penalty. THINK about what you're saying before you type it. Try to come up with a coherent statement that makes sense. Christ in hell, where do people like you COME from?

Actually for those who are still around, Yes, I did vote. I voted for Gore. I ALWAYS vote for the Democrat, nomatter WHO it is. However, I won't be voting anymore. I've given up on the US government, I've stopped caring all together.

Personally, I think Florida should be banned from voting altogether for the next TEN presidencies. The whole god damn state. Anyway, soon I won't give a damn. I'm already looking for realestate in Japan and England. Their governments arn't MUCH better, but from where I'm sitting, Japan and the UK's governments are paradises in comparison.

This is the kind of fucking crap that makes me feel as if America is going down the shitter. In fact, I'm pretty damn convinced it's already on the road to destruction. The fact that this kind of bullshit can even be THOUGHT about just clinches the fact that America is a fucked up place to live. With a majority vote in the Congress and their pet dog Bush as the leader of this nation, the Republican part can do anything they want! They can change laws, make up new ones, and change our culture so it fits THEIR ultra-christian ideals. The more Congress and their lapdog Bush give more to the Police, FBI etc the more they strip US citizens of their constitutional rights and turn the country into a police state.

America is fucking dead to me now. I'm leaving this country before the republicans begin to persecute individuals, like the Jews for instance. I KNOW its around the corner.
